Philip is a great teacher whom I can’t recommend enough! He is passionate about drumming, teaching and helping his students grow as musicians. He makes sure you get the most possible value out of each lesson and are set on a path to achieve your music goals!

I went from having minimal experience with drumming and knowing basically nothing about Jazz to being able to play along with my favorite Jazz records and express myself musically in the process. He didn’t just teach me the “how” of jazz drumming, he taught me the “why” and gave me tons of essential records to listen to and study from, in addition to a ton of drum kit exercises and practice routines.

Philip is an awesome drum instructor and person! Can’t recommend enough!

I had a fantastic experience learning under Philip. Having always wanted to learn the drums, Philip gave me an enormous amount of confidence and enabled me to improve very quickly with each lesson. The lessons are a lot of fun and you get so much out of it. Philip is easy to get along with and he's just a great instructor. I wouldn't go anywhere else for lessons!

I started taking lessons with Philip as a complete beginner because I wanted to get the technique right before practicing on my own. After learning the basics, we mostly played over popular songs and learned the technique and the theory behind them as we went, making them very approachable and it felt super rewarding and fun at the same time.
