To prepare our home for sale, I wanted to replace our attic insulation as there was evidence of a rat issue we had some years back. After considering doing the job myself, I realized this was a huge undertaking. I found Phil Wheeler Install and he made it so easy!! His company removes all the old insulation (along with the signs of rats) fills any and all holes that pests use to gain access and filled our attic with clean, new insulation and will return for TEN YEARS to make sure the same amount of insulation exists—and adds more if it has settled. Great company and experience!!

1994 home, with just the bare minimum of insulation (if that) in an expansive and hard-to-navigate attic. Phil Wheeler and his team were fantastic. Knowledgeable, good advice about options, fair estimate, professional install team (experienced, fast, and very respectful of my home spaces), great documentation of before and after work. Phil did the initial review and estimate personally and accompanied his team on work day to introduce everyone and ensure clear communication all around. And they took plenty of pictures for my documentation and for potential energy credits. Cannot say enough positive things about my experience with Phil Wheeler Install.

We are very happy with the job Phil did for us. We got quotes from several companies and he was the most competitive. Phil was also the only one who had a presentation prepared to go over the process in detail. The crew showed up on time on both the removal day and installation day. They did have an equipment issue on the day of installation but came back out the next day on a Saturday and finished the job. We've noticed a substantial reduction in how much the furnace ran this winter with our heating bill being less than it was for last year even though the temps were a lot lower this year.

Installers sprayed foam all over and around a furnace flue pipe even to where it was coming out of the outside roof boot for the flue. I had to cut the foam out from around the pipe to provide the necessary clearance and had to have my HVAC company replace the pipe. They also got foam on my AC/furnace unit, gas line and duct work. Called company and they said their head guy would be in contact. After 5 days of no call back I called again. They set up an appointment to fix the problem and after waiting all day for them they called at 4:30pm saying they were still 2 hours away. We then set up an appointment for the next day and they texted me in the AM saying they couldn't make it.
Edit to add: As seen in their reply below the company offered to pay for the needed HVAC repair. I sent them a copy of the bill from the HVAC company as they requested and I never heard back from them or received payment.

Emilio and the crew did an awesome job on the clean-out (1979 attic space...yuk!), capping a venting chase, filling gaps with foam, and finishing off with NEW fluffy insulation + access tent/seal.

Cleanup and removal of discards impressed me further to the point of adding gift cards for the team. Seriously, attic envy going forward, with the promise of checkups at 1-5-10 yrs in-service gives us the confidence to rate FIVE STARS.
