I’ve heard nightmares about buying a boat. Well the staff at Phil Dill in Lewisville is friendly, treats you like family, very helpful along every step of the way and I couldn’t have been more satisfied with the process. From the initial introduction and overview, to reserving the boat, the financing and insurance, the test drive and final signing, the process was seamless. Aaron, Cory and Denise were very helpful. There were others involved in the process whose names escaped me at the moment but I would encourage anybody in the market to go check out Phil Dill Boats and talk with Aaron. Me and the wife love our new used boat. The process was so easy to get the boat we wanted. It was ready for the lake before we drove off so had fun the very first day. The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly.
(To sum it up STAY AWAY FROM FINANCE at Phill DILL rip off rates)

THE GOOD: The sales persons are very nice, super help full and they have one of the largest inventory of jet boats in Dallas. Sales personal are not like car dealership and push you to buy now. Great place to look at boats and make a family decision.

THE BAD: What Phill Dill Finance did not know is that I been to other dealers on the same 2024 boat and was 100% approved for a boat through Yamaha Finance at 6.00% for 15ys. Phill Dill told me the best they can offer was 9.99% for 20 year. Keep in mind I have Tier 1 credit score, I am not stupid but did not want to drive 400 miles to the next dealer who had the same boat. For people who care the cost difference between the two dealers rate change is $49,844 in the course of that 20 year deal Phill Dill finance team tried to bend me over with the fake rate of 9.99%.

THE UGLY: Before i committed to driving to the other dealership 400 miles away I asked Phill Dill Finance if they were using YAMAHA finance so I am comparing apples to apples because I was approved at a much lower rate. His response was yes, but still stood by his 9.99% ( i felt i even gave them them the opportunity to not lie but they really wanted to take a customer to the cleaners)

OVERALL: This was a very sad event because Phill Dill is an amazing place and the well kept boat inventory is awesome. The workers I met seemed very helpful and knowledgeable of boats. If it were not for the finance expecting to make more than what is considered a fair profit this would have been a great experience but for now a smaller dealer with far less inventory got my business.

Clint Gee was my sales person and my experience was great from start to now even. He did not make the sell and then forget me. He stays in contact making sure I am still happy, almost a year later.
