I used to contribute to PFC thru payroll deduction. I stopped in 2018 after I found out they keep a portion of my donation... not unusual for a non profit. However, I later found out they don't send the monies to the designated charities for a least 3 months. They are still holding on to the money I contributed in the 4th quarter of 2017 and today is July 6th, 2018. That includes contributions I made in October, November and December 2017. They have been holding on to my donation for over 9 Months! I have been told several times the money was going to be sent. Last week they said checks had been mailed out.
I am in close contact with my charity and the money has not arrived so I called PFC today and found that the check DID NOT get mailed! Their explanation? They have had reconciliation problems. No excuse! I will NEVER contribute to Partnership for Colorado again! I am giving them until July 13th, one week. If the money has not been received by my charity by then I am calling the Attorney General or whoever I need to have them investigated and audited.
