LOOKING FOR THAT QUAINT BOOK STORE WITH HISTORY AND AN AMAZING SELECTION OF RELIGIOUS ITEMS? This is the kind of place that has history!! The owners who work there are so knowledgable and give you detailed information on the books and items they carry. I LOVED the stunning braclets and array of religious jewelry, the prices are EXTREMELY reasonable. There aren't many stores like this anymore so if you enjoy strolling through book shops or have a specific need in mind I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND VISITING HERE!!!!!!

QWhen in Cambria my wife and I always stop at Padre Pios. This is a wonderful Catholic store. I found Great, reasonably priced Crucifix to replace my 60 year old one. The books are amazing, owners are more than helpful. God Bless them!

Extremely helpful pleasant staff they go out of their way. Best selection of catholic books, videos, medals and crucifixes on central coast. I like the fact the staff have read many of the books and seen many of video so they can offer a good firsthand opinion of what they sell. My wife and I make this store a regular stop everytime we go thru Cambria.

Wow! I was in Cambria on the weekend. I was so impressed by this book/gift store! It was so nicely arranged and had so much to look at - gifts well as great reading material for the Catholic that has everything! The owners were delightful and very helpful-

This is the most complete Catholic Bookstore in the central coast area. The owner is very helpful and more than willing to go the extra mile to find anything they don't have. The hours of operation can be a little inconsistent however a phone call can insure a successful visit.

Wow. The staff at this little book store will go miles out of their way to get what you're looking for, either off their shelves, or by ordering it for you and holding it. Holding it for MONTHS, in my experience.
I asked for a specific book here, which was one my friend had bought weeks earlier. They could not locate it on their shelves, but did write down the title, and also noted the discount she was offered. And told me they would get it for me.
A couple weeks later, they called me and told me they had my book available. I wasn't in the area, so they said they would hold it for me until I was.
Weeks later, they called me and told me it was in.
Then months later, I stopped in and enquired about it. And not only were they still holding it for me, but she added a discount on top of the discount my friend had received!
And, this book is very important to me. It is a supplement to accompany the Bible used in Traditional Latin Masses.
And speaking of TLMs, I asked where the nearest one is held, and was not only told where - in Pismo Beach, and the name of the church - but also told me what time it starts.
There is a lot of God at work in this little store. It's a great place to simply visit.
