We had a bird stuck in the wall between the fireplace and drywall. We called Pacific Wildlife and I ended up leaving a message, it being Saturday, I figured we were on our own. Within minutes, Kat returned our call and walked us through every step of saving this beautiful bird. We already had a hole cut in the wall but the bird wasn’t leaving. She told us, the birdie was probably scared and to close all the blinds and open some windows (without screens). Within minutes of closing the blinds and allowing the bird to feel safe again, the bird quickly made its way out of the hole and out a window! Thank you, Kat!

Pacific Wildlife Care came to the rescue today when I found a small barn owl with a broken wing near the highway. I’m a truck driver from Georgia who had no idea what to do in this emergency. Google led me to Pacific Wildlife Care who answered the phone immediately, and someone was there to rescue the owl only a short time later. I’m so grateful for these heroes!

Please use the Animal Rescue Hotline if you ever run into a wild animal in distress. We were in downtown Morro Bay after 9pm when we ran across an injured possum in the middle of a busy street. We could not leave it there to be hit yet again but since we were visiting there was little we could do. Fortunately we were referred to Pacific Wildlife Care. Within minutes rescuers arrived and secured the animal. What a relief! It’s so heartwarming that such an organization exists to save our wildlife❤️

These people are so kind! I have brought in 1 baby bunny and 2 baby possums. The bunny didn't make it, but they take such good care of them! I dont know what I would have done otherwise.
Thank you

Three animals turned in to Pacific Wildlife "Care", all three euthanized immediately. One was completely healthy with the rehabber waiting to take her back. These people stopped publishing their euthanasia statistics years ago, unlike wildlife rehabs in other counties. What are you hiding? Please don't donate anything to this place until they publish their stats.
