This is a hidden gem that you should check out. The museum is larger than it appears and has a ton of interesting items to view and history to learn about. The displays are well done and have placards describing them. From local gems and minerals to armed forces uniforms, this place has a large selection of things to pique your interest. Excellent County museum, quiet a vast collection of historical artifacts dealing with daily life over the past 150 years . LOVED the amazing Native American artifact exhibit. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, great collection of books for sale as well.

Awesome museum with a dozen+ themed rooms (minerals, mining, general store, railroad, medical, dental, indigenous, ranching, etc).

There's something for everyone (except maybe children under 12, it may be boring to them).

If you are staying at the Beaumont, they have an entire room dedicated to the hotel and its history!
