I had the opportunity to visit with a friend and we volunteered a few days at Oscar’s Place. I am a breast lymphoma survivor 2021 and it was an amazingly healing place. I learned so much about the donkeys those few days I visited. They each have new names and survivor stories of there own. Wonderful sanctuary, hoping to visit again soon!

When we visited we had a tour and opportunities to meet each sweet donkey.
I had no idea how smart and sweet they are. Thanks for the opportunity to participate in your life changing work to save these beautiful animals.❤️❤️❤️

I'm deeply grateful for each & every fabulous donkey that they save & care for on the arduous road to recovery.
What he, Ron King, has created certainly is a magnificent nurturing space for wonderful survivors.
I appreciate this immensely.
I appreciate creating safe vegan space on our Divine Earth Mother.

I would give 10 Stars for Oscars Place if I could! I work with and support multiple animal conservation organizations who do incredible, meaningful work for wildlife, the environmental, and farm animals throughout the world.

One benefit of having some experience in the fields of animal conservation, charity, and philanthropy, is that it becomes readily apparent when an organization does 'not' understand what needs to be done. Oscars Place definitely understands it ,100%!!!

Wild donkeys/burros are being wiped out at alarming numbers (along with thousands of our country's wild horses), a needless slaughter fueled by cattle ranching greed for cheap grazing land. We all need to work to save them before it's too late.

Phil, Ron, and their amazing team are pulling out all of the stops to create a great environment for these incredible, smart, loving, and social animals, who would otherwise have been sold by the pound, and senselessly killed.

Thank you Ron, Phil, Gabe, et al for your incredible hearts and minds.

I feel so fortunate to volunteer at Oscar’s. I’d never have had the opportunity to comfort and love the rescued donkeys. What I receive from them is even more comforting. I’ve always been afraid of horses, but honestly donkeys are much like dogs as they are empathetic, great at giving hugs, and forgive humans for our abuse, neglect, and disrespect. I am so thankful for Oscar’s Place that I contribute financially because it’s important that the donkeys get the best farrier, veterinary, and nutritional care possible. If you have never experienced the love of donkeys—visit the sanctuary.

Was recently part of an online art for donation zoom. Was able to listen to Ron King and Ed Attanasio. Wonderful artist
This is an amazingly worthwhile Adoption Center. I'm proud to be a Guardian and I donate monthly. Please look them up online. They are truly compassionate and loving people. They save so many donkeys.
