I can't say enough about my recent experience with Orchard Park Health Care Center in Littleton, Colorado. The care my Mom received while she was there was quality. Very caring, authentic and I knew she was in the right place from the moment she arrived. I would like to say THANK YOU to the entire staff, you made all the difference during a very challenging and sad time for our family.

Initially, my mother was in a different rehab facility and we were given just two days to find her a long-term care facility. Our Mom had done some PT at Orchard Park previously, and was always very happy going there. Special thanks to Ashley in admissions who remembered our Mom and gave my sister and me a true feeling of caring from the moment we called her to ask questions. Orchard Park moved very swiftly to help us with the process to get our Mom into the facility, thankfully they understand the challenges of healthcare systems.

From there our Mom was given exceptional care both physically and emotionally. The center itself is very nice, clean, friendly and there is a feeling of genuine care from the staff. The food was MUCH better than her previous facility as well. Our Mom wasn't able to partake much in the social activities, but I witnessed some of them, and they seemed to be really caring and fun for those who attended.

Over the coming weeks we communicated with people at Orchard Park including operations, physical therapy, social workers, chaplains, nurses, nurse assistants, doctors and other support staff. They were always on top of what needed to be done whether it was medications or attention. Most importantly, our Mom was comfortable and she felt safe. This was so important and gave our family tremendous relief. I live out of state and felt that she was truly being cared for.

As the weeks went by we learned that she was nearing the end of her life. I'd like to thank Dr. Singh and his staff for recognizing and paying attention to what was happening and communicating with us to let us know what to expect. Thank you so much for this communication! Brenda was very helpful in getting us set up quickly with hospice. Berkely Hospice was amazing as well, they came very late one evening, after hours to ensure our Mom had the correct medications to help her through the night. Dr. Singh and the Orchard Park facility's relationship with Berkely Hospice was helpful and extremely comforting to our family.

If you are in need of a facility for your parent or loved one, I highly recommend Orchard Park Health Care Center. I do not write many reviews, but this one is important to me because it is well deserved.

To the Orchard Park Staff: I can't say enough how much I appreciate your facility. Dr. Singh, all of the nurses and nurse assistants, support staff and other staff who gave your time. When we lost our Mom, the care and dignity you gave to her was over the top. I will never forget your kindness and compassion. Thank you with all my heart and blessings to all of you.

My father required physical rehab and the retirement community where he currently lives did not have room in their skilled nursing. I had several recommendations on various facilities and Orchard Park came up several times. Orchard Park made every step of the process of admitting, taking care of my dad's needs during his stay, and discharge seamless and non-stressful. The staff was friendly, informational, and genuinely care for their patients. The facilities feel like home rather than a nursing home. I greatly appreciate everything they did for my father while he was at Orchard Park.

Admission from hospital was seamless and having a guardian angel was invaluable. Nursing staff was caring, met needs of my mom and communicated with me as to her care and any concerns. CNAs were well trained and provided patient care in a timely manner. Therapy staff was great and communicated with me as to goals and progress with goals. Transition home was easy and case manager made sure everything was taken care of for discharge. Staff has checked in to see how mom is doing at home several times during the last 10 days.

Getting started with this rehab facility was really great. An admitting nurse reached out first to find out more information about my mom and then gave me phone numbers for the care manager and the unit nursing lead. That was all really great and they were all very responsive during the whole time my mom was there. However, she got very little PT and OT. I think they are shortstaffed in this area because she got PT for three days of the 10 days she was there. And then it was only walking in the halls. The OT worked with a few times but doing things while in the bed. This was a big disappointment as she needed to build her strength. The CNA‘s are hit and miss, as well as the nurses, but overall it was a better experience than we’ve had at other places, but there’s still a lot of room for improvement.

My mother-in-law has been admitted to Orchard Park a couple of months ago, and this place has been incredibly helpful to her and to us. Tim has worked through massive paperwork and hurdles to work out her financial arrangements. The nurses are angels for all the work they do and their patience. Daniela is personable, patient, professional and overall amazing. If you would be happy with an amazing group of people who patiently do their difficult jobs as nursing facility team members every day--Orchard Park is for you.

They are a great facility with professional staff and clean facility. My mom has been here for the past 6 weeks and everyone has been vested in her recovery . She has made great progress thanks to the hard work of the staff and our own involvement. The facility is super clean and laundry always done daily . We as family members must also do our part and be involved as this makes a HUGE difference!. Thank you and bless everyone that has supported us through this difficult journey.

My name is Rebecca Patton and I was in an horrific auto accident and all my bones from the waist down were completely crushed, along with my right arm which left me with titanium. The owner Nick Sorensen went above and beyond to make my life comfortable. The CNA's and Nurses were amazing. I was not an easy patient and they provided me with care and therapy. My stay was 6 months which I returned home. I am able to stand and somewhat shuffle my feet but this place is amazing for anyone who goes here. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart Nick for being who you are.
