When I started my Job I was in need of dress clothes and they put together several different fits for me to start my new office job. I also appreciated the encouragement they gave me. I was told to come back if I was in need of anything else. Thanks ladies for all your help!

They are very helpful and make you feel comfortable like you're at home. Dr. Stanley and Chaplin Jewels are amazing and the sweetest. They are a good resource jobs, clothing and food pantry. This is the first sober and faith based transitional house and it helped me stay clean and get closer to God.

Went for much needed help and was made to feel unwanted after the help they offered wasn't help to me at all and was reassured they would by the founder and had to come back two days later to be told she forgot about me. I walked 30 mins today and wasn't even offered a drink of water waiting for her arrival an hr later, but ask to bring things to the founder such as her coffee which I had no issue doing. I was treated like I was an inconvenience and in their way " well i have things to do" oh well bye and escorted me away when I voiced my opinion i didnt use profanity or loud talk anyone on a matter and didn't offer any other resources to try, seeming as though they have been in the community a while now even if the outcome was not feasible and alternative wasn't even made available good help really is hard to find it seems you really do have to be homeless to be catered too it really leaves a bad taste in your mouth when you really been trying to do for self and things are out of your control

I had a wonderous experience getting my taxes done. The work they did passed the free double check, much to the chagrin of that preparer. She accused Opening Doors preparers of a common mistake, then proved she had been wrong. If you think she offered an apology for wasting my time while she figured it out, or that she gave credit that was due, well, she didn't. There wasn't even a, 'thank you for coming in to let us check this for you'. I guess she knew not to say, 'see you next year'. Thank you, Opening Doors For Women, 2021 tax year.

Yesterday, 02152022, the manager at Opening Doors was just nice and so kind in the way she patiently explained the process to make sure this old woman understood that there was no need to reschedule because a conflicting appointment came in. That's a much better way of being treated! I can't let them get away with their habit of being kind and doing good for two years in a row, now could I!
