One safe place is a part of my recovery from drugs and alcohol it's also called a group call the " THE NET" IN POWERING WOMEN from drugs, achol abuse and also sex traffic we meet every week on Wednesday night I've been on my new journey since 2023 and I have 18 months sober I have one of the best support team COMO COMMUNITY CENTER and also COMO LIONS HEART this journey get easier every day with the support I have from my best friend JAY'RUNNER and Direct Connect but my biggest supporter is FATHER GOD who leads me every day I'm currently at the salvation army shelter hear in FORT WORTH Tx. Waiting for housing to come but what I have learned on this journey the most is MY PAST DOES NOT DEFINE WHO I AM TODAY. DELMAR LOIS GRAY

A wonderful place for women who have found themselves in a position and feel like they have no where to turn or anyone that cares. They will meet you with kindness and compassion, followed by a genuine willingness to understand your situation and provide options for you to better yourself and your situation. Extremely grateful and eager to start this journey with them.

Im currently going to therapy here my therapist is so nice she helps me understand that its okay to have these feelings but still I got sent to the mental hospital this place is amazing

I am giving this place one star because they do not care . The counselor did not care , it seemed to me like she was just trying to be nosy into my life and not really there to help or give me any real counseling. The first lady I spoke to that does the evaluation to see if you qualify , was nice the first time I spoke to her when I was depressed and feeling so low but the second time when I came back , I felt happy and joyful because she had given me hope so when she asked me if I needed any resources , I began to give her a list of things like help getting a lawyer , childcare assistance and help finding a job so I can better myself . Well this time around I sounded more ambitious and began telling her my goals and I got to the vibe from her that she started to get annoyed by my ambition. It’s almost like it triggered some jealousy in her. I left feeling bummed and hopeless again. Idk why they ask if you need any resources but then they don’t deliver ……. This place did not help me at all except for that little bit of hope they gave me at the beginning.

I was able to visit the One Safe Place building with the assistance of one of the agencies inside. It was amazing. So many agencies and organizations have come together to help those in need, inside this single location, across agency lines, to deliver more comprehensive (and less duplicative) services. A wonderful idea, beautifully executed.

This is an incredible place for both men and women who are in or have been in an abusive relationship. The staff members are all very kind. The moment you walk in you feel welcome by every team member. It feels good. There are many services available to assist with everything from counseling to getting folks connected with the right resources. This creates an opportunity for clients to be more successful in pursuing better lives for themselves and their families. Highly Recommend.

Their services are not understated. A temporary stay emergency shelter with resources and employees that make you feel welcome, valued, and accommodate to your needs. Advocates go above and beyond the average assistance experience to put you in a place that isn't "just another bed", given the time that they have. I only wish there were more facilities of this caliber that could offer long term stays.
