They have an awesome wooden park/play ground for the kids with all kinds of stuff to do. They also have plenty of picnic tables in the shade.

I stopped along my route to Providence Canyon and it was a great stop. There's a nice place area for kids and is dog friendly. Police patrol on a regular basis. Flat even ground for walking and a really great view

We visited the playground in this beautiful park. It's super fun. They have a tot lot for smaller kids, and a larger structure for older kids. There are also some more modern elements that seem to have been upgrades since the park was originally built. The ground surface is wood chips. The parking is a short walk across the street. There's lots of room for everybody to play and socially distance. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area and have kids that want to play.

Loved it here. We came from Harris County to swim but it's definitely not like I saw on previous reviews. Beach area seems closed with no swimming. It's a litter box now for geese. Still a beautiful place.

Every kids dream! This is the biggest playground I’ve ever seen. It has some pretty fun & modern equipment that will have adults wanting to play too. Neat little toddler area that’s just the right size. Lots of picnic tables and further down from playground there is access to water for fishing. We did have intentions on swimming due to pics from other reviews but there wasn’t a good sandy beach area so we just stayed at playground. Learn about a little history while you’re there too, Creek Indian Removal historic marker is there. I always check out the bathrooms & these were pretty disgusting, so make sure you stop for potty break before arriving to play.

Huge playground with a lot of interactive play features, good for all ages. There is some maintenance needed, including one section of the wooden Castle had a broken area about one square foot where a kid could easily slip through or at least their legs could fall through and get hurt. You can tell it is an older playground, between 15 and 20 years old, but it is still really fun. Great stop on a road trip and very shady. Tons of picnic tables and a pavilion nearby. The only downside was that we could not find any bathrooms anywhere in the park. No signage or maps to be found.

This park is well-kept, but if you have difficulty walking, as I do, I would suggest you find somewhere else to recreate. It's not exactly handicapped-friendly.

My college age son and his girlfriend came to visit last week and I wanted to take them where his Dad used to go camping as a child. We passed Old Town Creek Park and he had to park. He's a big kid at heart and loved it here. It's a great place for families, they have picnic tables, and just a little further down there are grills to bbq with.
I wound up taking my granddaughters here yesterday who are 5 and 1 and they had the best time ever. We can't wait to go back. The park was very clean and you can tell it's taken care of.
