Beautiful! There is something special about that '60s-era public spaces around libraries - here, there is a fantastic courtyard with banks of trees and benches and a large fountain. Inside, there is a beautiful stained glass border all around the ceiling of the main room.

The library is on the edge of a lovely park with walking trails, a commemorative walk by the city of Oak Ridge, a storybook trail around the stream, and the beautiful Japanese peace bell further down the park. It's a beautiful area and a great library to visit even if you're not local.

This is such a delightful library with a mixture of activities and opportunities for most anyone.

I noticed they radiate warmth and are so assistful. There are values that help keep the library and everyone safe and full of good memories for each time we visit.

Grateful for such dedication to one's career as those who work here and those who maintain its clean appearance and admirable activities.

This library is very nice! I especially like the Oak Ridge Room. It has plenty of opportunities for research. The extra rooms for meetings are convenient, too!

The library is my favorite place in Oak Ridge to spend time reading, going for walks, playing PokemonGO & be kept updated on local events and opportunities. My only complaint is that they often don’t have books that other libraries have, especially the more currently popular stuff. The selection on OverDrive/Libby is lacking as well. Still, kind librarians and a Summer Reading Program that includes adults. Check it out!

This place is awesome, The ladies on the children's side are super sweet and great, my son calls the one lady his "best friend" its so cute. She always helps him find exactly what he is looking for. She takes him around and shows him different books and really takes time out to make his trip fun.

Always Pleased with Our Hometown Oak Ridge Public Library! Great Place for All kinds of Reading Materials! They recently revamped the look of the library inside both the Main & Children's Section.....Looks So Spacious & Beautiful!! Great Job!! So Happy they have Large Print Books!! Whenever I reserve a Book or New Movie, They always have it there for me!! The Staff is Fantastic, Their Service is Top Notch & they are always Cheerful & Very Helpful!! Love this Place!! 😊👍📚

Great experience! Librarian is super helpful. New changes to library. All for the betterment for the patrons!! So excited. The library also has a seed catalog where you can get seeds and bulbs. They take donations of all kinds. Great system. Got a few seeds I couldn't find.

This library has everything one might find/need at a library: books, plenty of seating and tables, magazine/newspaper lounge area, computers for printing/internet/etc., copy machine, audio books, DVDs (free rental now), community news/ad center, children's library, bathrooms.
I love bringing my three year old to the children's library. She enjoys coloring on the free coloring pages provided, playing in the book loft, and doing puzzles while I find her books to check out. There are library dogs that come weekly to be petted, and reading time with the librarians. It's a nice little library that I recommend for children of all ages.
