What little of the people that's left there are the most cold, unfriendly, and uncaring in any church I have ever seen. The looks on their faces are always indifferent. There is no God in this place to be found. Doesn't feel like any kind of a "church" at all. The tried and true skeleton crew members that have been there for years love having their small clique to themselves and keep the church going, but that's it. This church is slowly dying off.

Edit: Also, this church rates poor in the area of helping people in need and support for the community, etc. The issue is NOT a lack of funds, it's that they are on the frugal side with the support they're willing to offer.
The clearly demonstrated lack of compassion for people is a key missing component to this church.

Traveling across the Country on a bicycle and I've stopped at many churches for some shade when it gets hot. The last Methodist church I was at told me that if I ever need a place to fill up some water bottles, just swing by a church and they'd be glad to help.
I saw this church on a map and gave them a call but they never answered or returned my messages so I figured maybe I'd still stop by since it's on my route. An older bald taller man approached me as soon and I got in and asked me who I was and then rudely said "Son, I don't know you, are you even Christian? You can't be here, you need to leave".
He was very cold and very rude. I explained to him I didn't need anything other than some shade for a little and maybe some hose water. He didn't want to hear any of that. I'm not homeless I'm just looking for some water and shade outside for an hour or so. I'm not asking for handouts or trying to take advantage of anyone's hospitality. It's ok if I couldn't be there but he was very nasty about the whole ordeal. As he walked away with his back turned to me he murmured "come to Sunday service..". There's plenty of other Churches in the area for that, I personally wouldn't recommend this one.
