The best childcare facility I've ever put my child in.
Her teachers are the sweetest and kindest people you'll ever meet. They made my daughter feel so welcome and took her in as their own. The directors are so sweet and have very good communication to parents. They are also the most sweetest ladies ever!! They made me feel very welcome the moment i toured the facility. I'm very happy I found this facility and put my child here to further her education! I would recommend this facility to my family and friends and anyone else💕🙂✨️

My little started in January of 2024 in Mrs. Izzy's room. To say is she amazing is an understatement. She was so hands on and engaged and genuinely loves the kids in her room. He just moved up to Mrs. Tina and Mrs. J's room. Again, these teachers love their jobs and create a safe space for the kids. He is learning Spanish and so many other things at his age! I have 3 boys, and he is the only one to go to a daycare center at this age and I could not be happier that this is the facility we chose. The director is phenomenal. She always has on bright colors, talks to every family each day and remembers all of the kids' names. She is definitely a positive light in the morning! We toured other schools in the area, and the vibe here is perfect! I would recommend this place 10 times over!

I like NHA because of its teachers. Miss Leslie, Miss Leticia, Miss Izzy are my daughter’s teachers and she’s happy going there full time because of these teachers who are warm, comforting , loving and caring. I strongly believe it’s the teachers who make any school successful. I’ve toured all other nearby schools too and this is by far the best school premises wise and teachers wise. I wish it wasn’t as expensive though. I would also point out that NHA needs administrative staff. Many a times there’s no one at the front desk. There MUST also be a person at the front desk who makes sure nobody is tailgating at drop offs and pick ups.

New Horizon Academy has been wonderful! Our son has gone here since he was an infant and we’ve had a great experience. Katelyn and Nicole are always so welcoming and quick to answer any questions. We have especially loved his infant teacher Miss Steph and One’s teacher Miss Izzy! They are great at giving updates throughout the day and sending over lots of pics. They are so caring and considerate, it gives me comfort knowing my son is in good hands! Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for good childcare options in Erie!

Not any teacher leaves on good terms. They all leave or walk out because of the misconduct and unprofessionalism of the director at Erie. Many have wrote HR including myself and it must be the entire staffed that walked out, is the problem or the people who have continued to leave since, by walking out.

People are yelled at instead of talked to. The director constantly tells staff that the assistant director doesn’t understand normal thinking and to not to go to her for anything. She tells everyone not to talk bad about her(the assistant) but it’s just the Director that talks ill of her. In fact she never stops talking. She sits in the children’s rooms talking to the staff about her new clothes from Amazon, her love for music artist, her personal struggles and how frustrated other co workers made her. She puts the staff down in passive aggressive ways and sometimes just aggressive. She judges and talks ill about parents. If teachers come to her with a real valid issue, her response is to talk about herself.

People love the pay but even with competitive wages they feel a lower paying job could serve them better. This review is based solely on how staff is treated and the main director of the center.

The center runs how it does because of the loving teachers who are employed there, who unfortunately have to work under these stressful conditions.

We have been at New Horizon for 6 months and can't say enough positive things about the school's teachers and leadership. The teachers (Ms. Kendra, Ms. Belle & Ms. Geneva) are incredibly kind and nurturing and work hard to ensure our children are cared for and loved. My little one has grown so much while in the one's class. It is also evident that Leadership (Ms. Katelyn and Ms. Nicole) works very hard to maintain a high-quality program focused on the children's growth/needs and retaining excellent teachers. We highly recommend New Horizon in Erie!

My son is in preschool NHA Erie. He has autism and before going into preschool he had trouble speaking. Ms. Leslie, Ms. Leticia and Ms. Ja’el has done wonders for him. He comes home speaking clearly and is always excited going to school. He knows his alphabet and numbers and he knows how to recognize his name. As a parent I needed help and I was worried of how we were going to be seen but they welcomed me with open arms and no judgement. I’m honestly so grateful of how they treat my son as one of their own and treat me and my husband like family. If any parent is struggling I highly recommend Ms. Leslie, Ms. Leticia and Ms. Ja’el. Thank you for all that you do!!!

New Horizon Academy has been great for my infant daughter!

She loves her morning teacher, Ms Stephanie, and is always excited to go to daycare (something I wasn’t sure was possible). Ms Stephanie does a fantastic job giving her fun things to do and explore. We love that we get lots of wonderful picture updates!

In the afternoon, Ms Marie does an amazing job managing the pickup chaos and afternoon meltdowns. She is always a calming presence and has great insight into what my daughter has been up to today.

All of the staff here have been fantastic and we have been thrilled with our experience so far.
