I originally found New Denver because I was searching for a MOPS group after moving several years ago. After attending MOPS, I started attending church services on Sunday and was impressed with the thoughtful sermons and the sense of community. Through the years I have also joined D Groups (small group sessions) and have attended the Women’s Retreat, which have both been great ways to connect with others in a smaller setting. I’m thankful to be part of the NDC community!

We have been attending this church for almost 14 years now and can say that this isn't like any other church I've ever attended. Some Sunday mornings they rock the seven piece band so you know the music is good but mostly it is the message. The pastors are very smart and have the ability to unpack weekly messages from scripture in an accessible and meaningful way. They take the time to explain what the passage meant in the original language in which it was written and why it was written that way based on the socioeconomic and political influences at the time it was written. I always leave the service feeling inspired, loved and smarter.

I'm from the south and never was a "church goer", having spent much of my youth watching people use the church as a way to segregate people and use the bible as a weapon. For this group of pastors, the elders, the leaders and this congregation to craft a community that is honest, welcoming, humble, inclusive and trustworthy for me.... that's saying so much.

New Denver has been a foundation in our lives for a little over a year. The most unpretentious, welcoming and genuine environment we have found. We look forward to each week's message and always find them relevant. The congregation is warm and helpful, encouraging us to participate more deeply in different ways throughout the year. NDC offers a variety of resources such as D-groups (Bible studies), mens' and womens' retreats, a thriving kids ministry during services and events, mission trips and much more. It is a thriving community and an excellent example of people living out God's will in the world.

We have been attending this church for 18 months. The teaching is thoughtful and biblical...truly outstanding. The atmosphere is welcoming and loving. With two services and the congregation split between them, it can feel a bit on the small side but I'm not in to mega churches anyway. As with any church I have been a part of, it is important to participate in the small groups. Small group sign-ups are offered twice a year and go a long way in helping you to connect with the others who are a part of this church body.

The warmth and openness of New Denver church impressed my husband and myself on our very first visit. The church is accepting of wherever you are on your faith journey and offers numerous opportunities for growth in our relationships with Jesus and others. Sermons are thought provoking and there are discipleship groups, fellowship opportunities, annual women's and men's retreats, local and international mission experiences, children and teen activities. We have been extremely happy with our decision to be part of New Denver's church family and quickly knew this would be our church home without searchingly further after moving to Denver 3 years ago.

New Denver Church is exactly the type of faith community my husband and I were seeking. We felt welcomed and accepted from our first visit and continue to value the relationships we’ve developed at NDC. The leadership offers practical messages and options to engage in small group settings. For anyone seeking a faith community with practical application of traditional biblical values, New Denver Church is a great option!

When I moved to Denver, I made a list of churches to check out and New Denver was the first stop on the list. I felt accepted and welcomed the first Sunday that I attended and I ended up not checking out any other churches on my list. I have been going to NDC for 8 years now and love the church even more today. The community of people we have is accepting, friendly, inclusive, and I have made many friends because of NDC. The pastors are amazing and the sermons are usually relevant to my life. There are so many ways to be involved- through womens and mens events, volunteering, discipleship groups (small groups), and more. This will be my church home as long as I call Denver home!
