Attention ICE!!! do you love your job? Do you hate fighting san antonio and new braunfels traffic to find illegal foreign invaders? Well look no further we have the solution for you! Come on down to your local food bank Just set up shop here and the other conveniently located food banks where you will fill your busses to the max! It's a ice agents dream! Plus, you'll be saving resources for tax paying American citizens who deserve it.

We waited for 2 hours to get a 12"x16" box of junk food and a bag of bread. that we were greatful for. But, we had individuals who didn't speak a lick of English that were rushed in and out in front of us cutting the lines because they were Hispanic (without waiting in line or a appointment). Whether you like the ice comments or not or whether you are a white guilt ridden middle aged woman who is pro illegal immigration the issue is you are putting other people first based on their race instead of who is there standing in line for hours. Whatever you politics are this was wrong.

They claim to help, but they really dont. Most times, i get the run-around from them. The initial meeting went great, the person who helped us was very sweet. All other workers i have interacted with are very unhelpful.

I love the NB Food Bank, people at the front desk are completely kind, and absolutely down to earth. When I volunteered I immediately loved the experience and the need to be part of something beautiful like that.

This place for me and I am sure for many people is employed by people who show care, compassion, kindness, empathy. Being homeless and having to depend on the community and its resources isn’t the easiest thing to have to do. Coming here for me is safe, it is comforting, it is sometimes my only option. And I am grateful for everyone that has helped me in this time of crisis. AH
