Nevin Community Center hosted their annual event. There was free food and activities for the kids and adults. On display we're powerful pieces of media history from the Black Panther party and we'll known members. My children had a good afternoon in a safe place.

It's more closed than open, even in times the sign says it should be open. The man in charge dosn't give specific times for the computer lab or the work out room. He locked up for lunch one hour early and opens a couple hours after, without notice. The three public bathrooms are broken into on a regular basis and turned into living shelter for the homeless. His excuse, "I'm understafed."
