I recently read that your community is hoping to buy the nearby Eldora ski hill. I hope you are successful and can keep it out of the hands of the mega "hospitality" corporations like Vale and Alterra. That'd keep the mountain more accessible for all instead of just the rich, would help maintain its awesome, laid-back atmosphere and keep the income it generates from being sent out of the community to rich jerks that already have more money than a fictional wealth-hoarding dragon.

I don't get to visit too often, as I am just a working-class guy and traveling isnt getting any cheaper, but I love Nederland, so many good people in your community!

We have an awesome St Patrick's day celebration and if you visit in the winter, a couple very awesome laid-back ski mountain fairly nearby too; Maverick Mountain (ma-and-pa run with a double chair lift near Elkhorn Hot Springs) and Discovery (still smallish and uncrowded but with more lifts).

Running a corrupt court where they play judge jury and executioner miserable people involved in a conspiracy to deprive people of their rights. The police got away with killing someone so someone tried to bomb their police station. Police stay posted out here to target tourists and homeless to give hefty tickets to for as little as a mile or two over the speed limit. They extort you through a defunct court that shouldn't exist

Great community resource and friendly staff. The staff always greets you with a smile and is offering to help. They have a meeting room for groups to rent. The best kept secret is the commercial kitchen they have. Businesses can rent it for very reasonable fees. The roadway to the center entrance could use some upgrading.

an awesome asset to our community. pretty bare-bones as far as a gym membership goes, but it's affordable and the staff is always kind and welcoming. they don't have a shower but the folks up here don't shower regularly anyway. they have first-run movies on weekends and frequently host pasta socials, etc. great place!!

They have a gym, movie night, senior lunch, a food and clothes bank. There's also a shuttle that goes there from Ward and Rollinsville on Wednesday and Thursday.

This place is incredible. Dawn Baumhover is the best!

They have a full size basketball gymnasium, and all the fitness equipment that you could ever hope to use. Further, they have movie theater nights on the weekends, senior lunches, a Clothes Closet for those in need where you can donate by the way, and this is where you go to vote.

It's a little hard to find only because you have to enter a driveway that puts the facility just a little bit out of sight from Peak to Peak Highway as you had North out of town not far from the fire department. Tell Beth Von Fisher or Fischer that I said hi...
