I had texted with Zach about getting rental assistance, agreed to a day & time to meet. He even agreed to stay a little past the closing time since I could not come any sooner. I texted him an hour before to confirm he'd still be there, & have not received a reply since then, weeks ago. Thankfully I didn't waste a trip out to the Tempe location & find myself ghosted by a place that claims to help veterans.

Initially contacted them in June 2023. Set up appointment with Leraya and she never showed. Phoned weeks later and she said we never had home appointment but I still have text present day verifying my allegations!!

Viewed business as unprofessional and moved on. Contacted again February 14 2024, spoke with Leraya again who "never spoke to me before ". When I recited her previous cell # to her and advised that I had already submitted all the paperwork she was requesting AGAIN, some resemblance of memory vaguely recalled the possibility of having communication with me previously.

Needless to say, like the majority of reviews, THEY DID NOTHING AND ARE UNPROFESSIONAL AF‼️‼️‼️

They do not help veterans in need. They make you fill out applications for grants but then lie and turn around and say you never applied for help. Good luck helping veterans from becoming homeless. As for the staff in the office, be aware they do not know how to deescalate situations, if you are a veteran seeking help please avoid this office at all costs. Especially if you are a veteran with ptsd, or anxiety….be aware they are not properly trained professionals.

Funds are never distributed to veterans.

If you're a veteran go for it sign your life away they would help o.j. Simpson if he was a veteran. Non-veteran beware run don't sign up apparently signing paperwork and making them legal documents as well as doing everything in your guidebook you don't even have a voice they will railroad you use you and your dependents.
This particular office is so disgusting disrespectful unprofessional complete joke to the veterans association they do not mean you well even the director is a sad example of leadershit

Misuse of government funds . The hotel smelled of dogs and pills smoked inside stairs. Hotel charged double but was supposed to be paid for by NCHP.
Just to use mine and children documents to acquire more funds and be leased to a crooked landlord on probation for fraud and had junkies working for him. Who happened to break in the unit. When they finally do office work, it’s to remove your name from the program . I tried grievance but policy is poorly implemented and if you show stress about homelessness they call it disrespectful and refuse service. Currently waiting on actual VA to investigate this site and administrators.

They helped me with my light bill and buying a bed. I ended up needing assistance again to find housing with rent. At most they probably spent like $500 which I'm grateful for. The case manager there was awesome but it looks like their boss denied me for any assistance because they helped me previously but they didnt help me with rent. I could see if i was already helped with rent but I wasn't. This is sad. Its a new year so you know they got new money. Hopefully the can change the policy.

If u r a veteran stay away from this place. They r not out to help vets it's corporate run and it is all about the bottom line. They told me the would pay for half my rent and made me put off moving in to my apartment for a week and then said they decided they could not help. I was left with no place to live and I right back to be homeless because these people decided I didn't meet there bottom line. Completely ridiculous to say they help homeless vets and they DONOT!!!!

This place is Amazing! Always serving veterans and helping them advance and push through the struggles. Monique Coronado is my current Case manager and she is amazing, along with Byron and Tiannah. The whole team has been very supportive and they will do the same if not more for you. Any transitioning veterans in the Casa Grande Area needing help or if you are close to this location they can help you with housing and job searching. If you have no transportation they'll pick you up as long as you're within a certain distance from their location.

Bravo Zulu on a job that's well done!
