They banned me from using their services ( even online Connection ) in San Mateo county because I have mental health challenges and few of the employees reported that I have been pushy to ask for the training and opportunities I asked for . The person who reported I am pushy and need to be banned was my children counselor ( was doing peer pal management ) . Well I am a high school science teacher and dont need their employment at all and stayed away . I am hoping by going out the businessman director who was know as a fund raiser( caring for money only ) , now real people who care about mental health and real folks can serve . Sometimes you wonder why these things happens in our county !!

I was introduced to Nami
Peer To Peer class in 2018 because of Calvin Shelton.
Calvin has been a mental health Advocate for decades here in San Mateo County.
We share lived experiences in common.
Calvin taught me the value of being connected to #Community and walked me through the steps of how to get there.
#NamiSanMateo has other #Heroes and
#Sheroes similar to Calvin.
#Nami in #SanMateoCounty leads the way through these victorious people who reach a hand out and "welcone" Our
#CommunityMembers to find
#Experience in #Wellness #Strength & #Hope.
#NamiSMC is made of fragile human beings who are imperfect and who speak out of their #Hearts to #SMC bringing
