The Hope food pantry in Nacogdoches is run by a team of volunteers that selflessly give of themselves to help needy families in the community. Open 2 mornings a week and 1 evening, Hope also offers fresh produce at 12:00 on Thursdays. Volunteers are friendly and helpful and the front office is dedicated in their efforts to provide this needed service to the community. Food Bank. Nice volunteers. New facility.

They serve free hot meals on the 3rd and 4th Wednesday of each month from Jo's Diner.

This place is a joke! people working there are very rude to a point I think there are evil this place should be shut down immediately and fire everyone working there,I felt bad enough to beg for food, but they make you feel worthless by the time you are out of there with all the screaming and all the races comments about Hispanics by the African American people working there,I will never ever go back because of that, please close this monstertly to humanity down ...no human being should go through what I went through and iam sure there are other treated the same just because of our race,we are all the same in God's eyes,it's our food my taxes payed for it,it don't belong to the rude evil people working there,

I’m a 58 years old chemical burn victim that was severely burned on an oil rig many years ago & after being in the hospital & nursing home to recover where they garnish all your income for staying past a time they desire ! You are let out penniless sometimes if not every time ! Then unless you have some money hidden somewhere, not a bank ( they take that too ) you don’t have anything anymore to eat ! Especially if your alone & recovering from an accident or illness ! The HOPE FOOD PANTRY helped me when I needed it the most & people like Jennifer are ANGELS OF MERCY in a time of need ! I THANK ALMIGHTY GOD For them & their HELP !
I hope you never need the Organization but if you do they are wonderful folks !& you won’t go hungry if you truly need the HELP
THANK-YOU ! HOPE FOOD PANTRY !
Sincerely & Respectfully !
John

This place is a joke! I feel sorry for the staff that have deal with it. People fighting, cursing, spitting, pushing and shoving. Then you have people lining up shoes or baskets stating it's holding their place! Still people are cutting thru the line. Then you have people receiving items that don't need it and then doing parking lot exchange's.
