Worst audio system ever, we reserved the Gym for a community event, we had our doubts about the audio system and repeatedly asked the management to fix the issues, we were assured the the audio system will be fixed, we had around 30 kids from ages 4 - 18 years old who was practicing to perform in the event from last 8 weeks. We were able to start the event without any issues, sound system gave up in middle of the performance and doesn’t work, no body could do anything about it. Poor kids they worked so hard and the day they want to perform this happened. Any parent that is reading this post can understand what I am talking about. Worst part is no one is accountable for this mistake in the community center. That is all I can say about the issue.

Other than this issue, I only have good things about this community center.

I came here to vote. There were signs both around the building and inside directing where to go. There was no wait and the process was easy and streamlined. Covid-19 safety precautions were taken. The ladies were nice, encouraging, and helpful, making my first time voting a good experience!

I don't frequent this place. I was there to vote. Murphy is a nice town; I like it. The Community Center seemed very nice, clean/safe and right in line with the rest of Murphy. I'd go there again to vote, or for other activities, if I still lived out that way.

I help throw a baby shower here and they are very accommodating and they were awesome. It was beautiful it's suitable for any kind of meeting or get together. I think they also have some workout equipment there and things like that I'm not sure though I would check the website. I just know that it's a really nice building and I would love to go there on a semi daily basis.

Interesting community building. A nice mix of history from the building's origin to being a shared space for use by the community. There's a small library and multiple large rooms for meetings. It is frequently used as a voting location for Collin County.

This is city of Murphy's community center. We went there to cast our vote. Nice and clean facility. It contains gym and a small library. Sometimes organises events of low volume.

Nice clean, safe center with great service. Gym, activity rooms, meeting rooms, common areas with books and games. Anyone can join with a significant discount for residents and older people. Kind, helpful staff makes you want to visit again.
