Mountain View is a very welcoming church that preaches the truth in love. The teaching covers advanced topics, but in a way that is still accessible. A large emphasis is placed on community, on building relationships with other members. My wife and I really like it here!

If you are looking for a church that stands for God's word through and through, this one is not for you. This one will advertently skip over doctrinally difficult passages in the name of keeping the peace with those who will disagree.

If you are looking for a church that will keep the Lord's table open when the government says to shut it down, this church is not for you. This church will bend and break to serve the god Caeser.

If you are looking for a church that plays Jack Johnson's discography in order to appease the worldly in the pews, this church is, actually, for you.

If you happen to find yourself in a pandemic, and are wondering where you can go in person to worship Christ, this church will be closed.

If you care about theology, this church is NOT for you. You will be told that you must not boast of your "theological discoveries" as if they are not revealed to you by the Holy Spirit.

If you are looking for a church that made you put on a mask to worship the God of the universe in song, yet let you take it off when you sit back down, but then make you put it back on as you leave the building, this church is for you.

If you are looking for a church that will make you stand on the curb in late November for not having a mask on "properly", this church is for you.

If you are looking for a church that would proudly claim to be more enticing to the onlooker than Christ Himself, this church is for you.

If you are looking for a church that will have no idea that you are even gone, let alone even care, this is your place.

The last thing I will say, is that most of these google reviews are from people that work at the church. Don't trust the ratings. This is the exact thing that prompted me to indulge in this review. This church is held at bay, or, into a corner I should say, by the political ideology of Fort Collins. The last thing that Fort Collins needs is less Bible. But hey, if you are in the neighborhood and prefer a sick new building, a topical sermon on how to spank your kids while skipping over Romans 8 and 9, and a full band for music every Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday;

this church is INDEED for you.

I hope you show up looking for milk, because that is what you are going to get.

I grew up going to several churches, but Mountain View is my favorite church family that I've been part of. The community is strong throughout - children's ministry, kids, HS, college ministry, young adults (of which I was a part for years), families with kids, and beyond. The pastoral staff is not aloof - they care for people and put a massive emphasis on the Word of God. They preach verse by verse through Scripture and are not afraid to tackle difficult Scriptural or cultural topics.

I've now attended for eight years and have grown significantly in my love for the Lord and others through hearing the Gospel on Sundays and being part of a community throughout the week that wants to see God work in their lives through His Spirit.

Worship was phenomenal, brought me to tears. If you like a gospel centered sermon you will likely enjoy this sermon style. Bibles are available in the backs of all pews. Coffee and tea are served for guests at numerous stations. There is a short “hand shake” period and no official tithing time as you can give through their app instead.

Mountain View has been my family away from family for 8+ years! As a single person, I have felt valued and cared for by many people at this church. There is Bible-believing, Christ-centered preaching and gospel-centered worship. Mountain View Community Church is an incredible community of faith! God in his grace has granted them steady growth over the years, and they have now successfully sent out multiple church plants that are thriving. I've personally witnessed the investment, love, and care they give to literally hundreds upon hundreds of people. Couldn't advocate for the leadership more or speak more highly of its people. Amazing college student ministry as well
