I feel very sorry for all the volunteers there who are nice & friendly. The 'hot shots' who think they own the place are down right rude & mean. Nothing fancy purses that I donated were marked at $15.00. What a GREEDY rip off!!! After 30 years of giving, I won't be donating to the Mountain Thrift Store ever again.

I used to donate and sometimes purchase until today. Walked in after looking at merchandise that was insanely overpriced records are a joke. Not to mention things I donated previously hoping it would go to a person that doesn’t have Lake arrowhead Money! As I overhead “ This isn’t a drive though when a nice lady asked to donate” after I hear.. Oh that box yeah save that one or put $450 ! I want it! This tells me everything we donate is picked through by there people that work there and if worth any type of money it’s marked up and nobody wins besides the owners/ employees. Unfortunately I will never donate nor will I go back into this store.. Locals that I know personally will also be aware of this enjoy your mark ups and sorry for putting you out donating!

They are never open when they say they are open. Not sure why, but they should advertise the correct hours. Otherwise, when they are open, they are a good thrift store.

I Love it here! The staff is always so friendly and helpful. I can find good quality goods for a fair price. Too bad they do not sell electronics, I have been looking for a vinyl record player, but they do sell Records so that's a plus!

This store is so organized and not stressful to walk through. The people are nice and are very accommodating. It’s the best thrift store I’ve ever been in.

Very clean and organized place, with hundred and hundred of items. At the entrance they write down your name, take your temperature, and very politely ask you to sanitize your hands. They also cap the attendance to 18 people between customers and volunteers.

Prices are really good. And who can beat their $4.00 X 4 books -- including hardcovers and coffee table ones? I'm coming back for sure!

All of their sales go directly to local charities on the mountain. Their merchandise is always excellent. It certainly is great finding quality items for Thrift store prices. The majority of time...I don't leave without finding something that I may need or even want. Sometimes I have even found brand new merchandise & beautiful antiques...it's definitely a treasure hunt every time I shop there🧚‍♀️🤗💖
Let's not forget, they are right next door to Jensen's Specialty Market with Starbucks inside & a wonderful Deli in the back. What a fun way to spend the day 😇🙃🤗💕

Our favorite thrift store on the mountain. The prices are very reasonable. Great place to shop for kitchen items if you're just getting started, the books were very inexpensive, too. And sometimes you come across some real treasures. The volunteers who work there are very nice. Sometimes they place free items outside their door.
