My husband and I got married at Mount Vernon in September and when I say it was the most perfect day, I mean it. Mount Vernon was the first venue that we looked at after being engaged, and we felt like it could be our venue from the very first time we saw it. The grounds are beautiful, and ceremony, dinner, and reception areas are wonderful, and the staff is incredible. We met Barbara the first time we visited Mount Vernon and she was a huge part of the reason we ultimately ended up choosing Mount Vernon for our wedding venue. She has the biggest heart for her clients, cares deeply about what she does, and from the very beginning, she made us feel like she had everything 100% under control and reassured us that we would not need to stress at all about things running smoothly on wedding day. Everything about our wedding day was handled perfectly. As promised, Barbara and the entire staff at Mount Vernon made us feel so taken care of the entire day. Barbara was communicative the entire time leading up to the wedding and really did make sure every little detail was in place to ensure that our day went smoothly. We are so incredible grateful for Barbara for making our day exactly as we had hoped. In addition to the incredible staff, the food was delicious. Our guests complimented the food all night and many went up for seconds at the buffet. Our wedding day is a day we will never forget and we will always be so grateful we were able to have it at Mount Vernon. Thank you so much for being such an important part of our day!!

Out of the many wedding venues we saw in the Denver/Front Range and Estes Park area, this was by far our favorite. The views are stunning and even though we live in Colorado, it was a destination wedding for many, so we thought it was the perfect venue to showcase the mountains to everyone who was coming in from out of town.

Barbara was with us every step of the way and she was amazing, patiently answering our hundreds of questions and going above and beyond to make sure our day was as perfect as could be.

The food was also spectacular and our guests were raving to us about it. We loved getting to speak to the chef at the tasting and were thrilled that the staff was able to accommodate a little Brazilian flair by adding pão de queijo to the menu and caipirinhas as the signature cocktail!

There was NOTHING Mount Vernon could have done to make our wedding any better. The only thing I would have changed (that the staff had no control over) was we had unexpectedly cold and cloudy weather for the ceremony, but it cleared up by the reception--and everyone says a little rain is good luck for your marriage anyway. 🙂

We had a wonderful experience with Mount Vernon Canyon Club as our wedding venue. The staff were very communicative and responsive throughout the planning process, which gave us peace of mind that everything was going smoothly. The open floor plan and beautiful mountain views provided a lovely backdrop for our special day. Their service was great and the staff were friendly and attentive. The venue has a spacious feel with good flow between indoor and outdoor areas. We would recommend Mount Vernon Canyon Club to couples looking for a venue with beautiful scenery, an accommodating staff, and ample room for guests to mingle.

My husband Eric and I hosted our dream destination wedding at Mount Vernon Canyon Club on August 25, 2024.

We had the great privilege of working with Barbara Aguilar from the moment we sent in our first inquiry regarding the venue, to the moment our special day ended. Barbara is not only an exceptional service provider, but truly a genuine, caring person. We coordinated everything with her via email and phone as we are based in Boston, MA. She was responsive, kind, and provided us with thoughtful, effective advice the whole way through.

On the day of our wedding, everything ran smoothly — it was truly the perfect day. The views at MVCC are breathtaking — sharing our vows on the deck overlooking the foothills surrounded by our closest family and friends is a core memory. From the cocktail hour to the reception, the staff supporting Barbara were attentive and kind to us and all of our guests. The quality of the food and drinks exceeded our expectations. We were able to bring our design vision to life as the venue gave us full autonomy on our vendor selections. We did not have to worry about anything, and were able to truly stay immersed, soaking in every moment.

Special thank you to Barbara for her commitment to us. We are forever grateful to have chosen MVCC as our wedding venue, and will cherish the memories that we made there for the rest of our lifetime.

If you’re looking for a “not golf club” country club atmosphere the Mt. Vernon Canyon Club is the gold standard. You’ll appreciate that the staff is even more amazing than the views from across the property. Hands down some of the best forward thinking food on all the menus. If you have the need for a breathtaking space with stellar service you’re a fool to not visit. Brides, you’ll thank me for having shared this.

Two months ago, our daughter and her husband had the Colorado Mountains as a backdrop for their beautiful wedding ceremony. Mount Vernon Canyon Club is a gem in Golden, CO. Easy access for in-town or out-of-town guests. Nicole helped us plan the event; she provided great advice to plan a very memorable wedding for our daughter and son-in-law.
A Friday night allowed us to use both floors and decks at the venue, this area provided a great experience for 170 guests. The passed appetizers and Colorado themed menu are still raved about when we visit friends and family. The food and service were beyond our expectations. So thankful such an important piece of the evening was so outstanding!
The dining area is large yet felt intimate for speeches and giving time for people to connect with the bride and groom. Dancing and fun continued into the evening on the lower level and beautiful deck!
We highly recommend Mount Vernon Canyon Club! Enjoy!

My husband and I recently had the honor of celebrating our long-awaited destination wedding in Golden, Colorado (all the way from upstate NY) with 50 of our closest friends & family (all traveling from the east coast).
