I can't say enough positive things about the care my Dad has received in Morada's Memory Care Community. Carla, Mary and Helena and the rest of the Memory Care Staff have been so kind, compassionate and helpful yet also very professional. They definitely go above and beyond. I am always greeted by name with a smile every time I visit. Everything is very clean and well organized. Theresa is the best with hair cuts and grooming and so patient and kind. It is such a comfort when you are trusting the care of a loved one to others you don't know. They are like family to us and we appreciate them greatly. Highly recommend Morada Memory Care!

I have a loved one who lives in Morada, and I can’t say enough good things about this wonderful community. Every time I visit, I'm always greeted warmly by the residents sitting in the rocking chairs in the front and the staff is always very welcoming! The atmosphere is all around very comfortable and homey. If you're looking for a supportive environment for yourself or a loved one, I wholeheartedly recommend Morada.

When we chose this home for our mom it was nice. Since the beginning of this year things have gone downhill…food is nasty…med techs serving food and no one to help with some of the residents that need help opening things or cutting something up!! The building is so dirty!! When we first moved her in it was clean clean. Custodians were great. But now we could not even get a broom or mop at 9:30pm because they do not have any. I was told by one staff member that residents don’t make messes on floor at night or on weekends.😳🥹our mom does not want us rocking the boat as she’s afraid of staff getting mad at her. I could go on but I will close with please if you have a parent there check them at odd times when staff does not expect you to be there. And warning ROACHES ROACHES!! Very gross!! I have noticed on other reviews that they liked they answered with sweet responses but with complaints they go silent stealth mode 👀‼️ if I could have gone with zero stars I would have been so thrilled. I have tried to be nice and there are several employees that tend to try to help anywhere or any time. I’m sorry I have to add on to this but the button they use around neck it , annoys med techs/nurse I’m really not sure what they are called. We have tried to talk to them but they have gone silent and don’t respond to phone calls or even answer after 5:00. One other thing was when the last PA left and also took her dad from this facility it was crazy. We nor residents were told that the Dr was gone. We were shocked as she was amazing! Luckily the new PA is great and will respond quickly to questions. I hope this helps residents to get a better quality life as that’s what we want for our mom! I wish no ill will towards anyone but I just wish some of the employees would step up and do the job they are hired to do. I would like to include administrators as well!! Shame on y’all for not standing up for your employees!!

The food service has really declined since my mother moved into Morada Friendswood in April. No choice in food and at nights maybe a cold sandwich at best.

Everyone has been complaining for two months to no avail.

They need new food management to take better care of the residents. Food is a major component to their care but at this time be very concerned to move one of your family members into this facility.

I would like to thank the girls that work there for all the time dedicated to take care of the residents. Thank you for making sure day in and out the residents feel safe, heard, well taken care of, fed! Bigger shout out to Sam and Alicia! The atmosphere there is great. Nothing but smiles from the residents (depending on their mood of the day ) and the workers! I see a lot of teamwork and it just makes the atmosphere so enjoyable!

0 stars.. bull on their website. I am saddened to hear that the food being served is... just not up to par at allllll. There is a bit of a show before you get there with the tour then find out what is wrong with the place later after moving in. The "fresh fruit" is not fresh fruit. It is out of a can. I doubt everyone would want 3-4 pieces of Colliflower for a side. Mushrooms and noodles for a dinners main? Who decided on this menu? I strongly feel there is not a "chef" there as advertised. If you ask for a burger I believe it was- be ready to wait until everyone else eats before they start on it. There are not many options. You still have to pay for every meal even if you don't eat every meal. If you need it to your room there is an extra charge for it. *****There is an issue with flooding and things not being taken care of to insure there is no mold. This is unacceptable and needs to be reported. Who leaves carpet that has been soaked? Would you let this happen in your own home? Would you let your family member live like this? This is so far from "luxury" for the price. There was a lady on the ground for hours —who helps with this stuff? Some of the wait staff I have heard are not so friendly. I feel for everyone that lives there especially anyone who has moldy carpet that they might not even be aware of. Who knows what else is going on if the smallest and insanely important of things have not been addressed. I hope to hear things change around soon. I will gladly change this review around along with the others I will be posting. These things need to be addressed as soon as possible. Thank You and Prayers for everyone that lives there. I hope the care you are getting turns around quickly. I'm sure it will. Thank You. Oh and you might want to chance what it says on the website about the dining. I don't know about special requests. The website is very misleading. I guess yall have no answer or anything to say to me about this. Yall should be ashamed. Such a sad deal. MOVE OR DONT EVER MOVE IN.

My dad's in memory care. Staff is nice and helpful. But! My dad's room was full of roaches and droppings including dresser drawers. His walls are dirty along with floor and baseboards filled with grime and droppings. They said they will spray and clean. My question is how do they allow it to get to this point. And will they actually scrub and disinfect. They go up on price yearly, but are going down on quality. They said last year they would repaint dad's room but that hasn't happened yet. He did get new floor.

Also. On Sundays it's iffy about reaching someone by phone .

Less than 1 star, food quality has gone down, no response when my grandmother pushes her button for help, it is well over 20-30minutes at minimum before a response. I tried asking for a mop to clean up a mess in her room and was told we don’t have that. So I had to clean it up with what I could find on my own. Her room was filthy, has not been cleaned at all, bathroom has not been properly maintained, and the price just keeps going up. Department of health is going to be notified, but I’m so upset with the advertisement they show, and what we pay, vs. actually receiving. They also have the techs serving the food for meals, there is no kitchen staff anymore.
