Mini Social created the baby shower of my dreams and I would do it all again without a moment’s hesitation. A few years ago, a friend of mine posted her daughter’s first birthday party on Instagram, hosted at Mini Social. I quickly became enamored with the venue and followed them on Instagram, patiently waiting for the day when I’d get to host my baby shower there (you can say I’m a bit of a planner when it comes to events). The day finally came and I told my husband about this grand idea for our baby shower to be hosted at Mini Social, in the hottest month of the year in Phoenix. Admittedly, he was hesitant about the projected cost of said baby shower, considering traditionally it’s an event that can be hosted at someone’s home with snacks to lighten the financial burden (keep in mind, he pictured showers that cost a total $500 or less). Oh, but I had other ideas in mind. I also feel it’s worth highlighting the heat factor in Phoenix - while in a cooler time a year, we could have used our backyard as additional hosting space at home for the event, summer in Phoenix is no joke and any outdoor space is off limits to safely host guests. There was no way we would have been able to comfortably host 50 individuals inside our home when it was 113 out. But you know who could? Mini Social! And in the most chic of ways!

All that to say, the moment my husband walked into our baby shower at Mini Social as Jessica and Luke were finishing their set up, he stopped in his tracks and just said, “Wow. Now I get it. I could have never imagined this. This is incredibly special.” One of the many benefits to Mini Social is their crew sets up everything for you. I had friends kind enough to offer help set up, as they assumed they would need to set up tables, chairs, etc. But instead, I used them to help set up a beverage station (we decided to do this on our own to save some money) and help put the finishing touches on decor I brought in myself - both taking maybe 10 minutes total.

Jessica did a stunning job on the background and balloons. I found a few inspiration photos I shared with her, but knew based on her work I’ve seen off Instagram that from the two photos I shared, it was safe to let her get creative from there - and she did not disappoint! I was a bit self-conscious about the cost of a background and balloons, especially when Amazon has kits you can buy that look great on the product listings (strong emphasis on how they look on the product listings, not real life). Trust me when I say there is absolutely no comparison to Amazon balloon kits and Jessica’s work. In fact, even on the opposite end of the financial spectrum, a friend of mine’s daughter-in-law recently hosted their baby shower at home and paid $2,000 for a background and balloon setup similar to mine. My friend approached me and said, “What’s the name of the company that did the background and balloons for your shower? It has to be the same company as my daughter-in-law used, they’re so similar.” Well, my background and balloons may have looked to be worth $2,000, but even with Jessica’s professional perfection, they were a fraction of the suspected price. Life is short, go for the professional balloons and background!

Luke was an absolute pleasure to work with and incredibly accommodating the day of our party. Always responsive via email and phone when planning, he somehow found a way to level up his amazing service the day of the event. Anything we needed or had a question on, he seemed to have already thought of it ahead of time and make it a fool-proof evening for us and our guests. I’m still not over actually getting to have my highly anticipated baby shower at Mini Social after years of eyeing the place. It’s understandable why Mini Social has become so well-known in Phoenix - they deserve every bit of praise and success. I cannot suggest Mini Social enough and they will forever have a special place in my husband’s and I’s hearts for the memory they created.

We recently hosted our wedding at the Mini Social. I can’t put into words how amazing Luke and Jessica were through the entire process. They made planning a wedding easy, fun, and affordable. The venue on the day of the wedding was absolutely gorgeous! Jessica has an amazing talent of taking your ideas and bringing them to life creating the perfect vibe for your special event. Both Luke and Jessica were easy to contact leading up to the event and had great communication making the process smooth every step of the way. The ability to customize your experience with various add ons makes the event exactly how you want it without paying for things you don’t want. All of my guests had an amazing time and I am so glad I chose this venue for my special day, it will be one to remember for sure. I will be hosting any events I have in the future at this venue, it is absolutely amazing! Thanks again to Jessica and Luke, you guys are the best!

Mini Social is amazing!! They helped me throw the best party I’ve ever hosted. We did a casino themed bourbon party for my husband’s 40th birthday. Luke and Jessica were so helpful and easy to work with. Luke created the perfect event package for the party and recommended excellent food vendors. Jessica understood the vision and brought tons of creative ideas for the theme, her attention to detail and the joy she brings to the process is so fun. Not only was she a creative visionary, she was an amazing bartender. She curated fun and delicious signature drinks and made sure everyone was enjoying themselves. It was amazing to arrive to the event and everything was taken care of! The floor plan was well thought out, the decor was perfect, and everything was ready! All our guests had a phenomenal time!! I’m so happy with how everything turned out and will definitely be using Mini Social for events in the future. I highly recommend.

I recently booked the mini social for my father‘s celebration of life. Luke and Jess were absolutely amazing! Their prices are extremely competitive. The space is gorgeous. They sit down and take time to understand what your needs are and have a true gift and talent for what they do. It comes natural to them and they make it personal. They have a true desire to understand each customer and make their event everything they want and more. I could not be more pleased with how everything turned out and how easy they were to work with their communication. WOW!! You will not be disappointed if you hire them.

I used MiniSocial to host my charcuterie board making workshop and this is hands down the best small event venue in Scottsdale! Luke was so helpful from start to finish, he made sure I knew where everything was and we mapped out how the tables and chairs were set days before the event so I could just walk in and set up. The space is clean, welcoming, easy for clients to find and park, and comes with SO many helpful amenities. Will definitely be booking here again!

the BESTTTT place in arizona to throw any event, reception or party. Operated by a husband and wife duo, the event coordinator Lucas made sure to keep in touch with me on regular basis from when I toured the venue to the days leading up to it! Was super patient and answered all my questions and gave amazing suggestions and tips! Not only was every thing spacious and clean to be decorated however you liked, it’s in a prime location! The services and packages offered are reasonable and included MANY options! I opted in for the bartending package and it was a huge hit at my baby shower! The process was smooth and effortless, and Lucas was there to not only help make sure we had everything we needed, but also had music already playing that coordinated to my theme too! The experience and customer service was 11/10! I can’t wait to host another event here again!

This was such a great venue. We had an amazing time! Owners are great at communicating. They offer great packages. Location is great for Old Scottsdale. 2 bathrooms, prep kitchen, actual kitchen with full-size appliances. Would 100 %recommend! Jessica did our balloon arch and we loved it!
