I know y’all like going 90 in a work zone in your work truck fully wrapped in your logo and website down Hwy 82, but it’s not safe for the workers, or the people in cars around you. It’s weird to care for troops/vets but not anyone else? Do better, thanks.

The military Warriors Support Foundation is phenomenal.
Just to give you some context, my family is everything to me. I have 4 nephews and 2 nieces and love them as if they were my own. They are my solid foundation, my support system, and my rock. Their love has been my medicine throughout all of past military tribulations.

I was pleasantly surprised and excited when I received their email. The timing and possibility of being a candidate that could receive a vehicle is truly a blessing. I currently did not have one. It had been difficult to connect with and see family members due to distance. However, that all change when I was selected to be one the candidate to receive a brand new vehicle, I was speechless. Furthermore, The Military Warriors Support Foundation is a solid organization that really shows to improve the quality of life of veterans from all walks of life. I am very thankful that MWSF exist and that they will continue to help the veteran community.

My husband and I honestly didn’t think it would amount to much to apply for an apartment or home. A little over two years ago we applied to the rent free apartment program and to our surprise we were approved. They set us up in a nice one bedroom (just me and my husband so all we needed). While in the apartment a home became available in our area and we decided to apply thinking it probably wouldn’t happen since we were already in the apartment program and also because receiving a free house is crazy! During the application process we found out we were pregnant so were definitely going to need an upgrade in space. We later found out that we were going to be given the house, mortgage free! Not only that but it was move in ready with all new appliances, paint, floors. Absolutely wonderful. It has been a huge blessing for our family. I can’t say how wonderful this organization is. Every person we have met has been wonderful. They continue to reach out to us even after we moved into our home for other programs either within the organization itself or that they are aware of for Purple Heart vets. To anyone out there wondering if it’s possible, it doesn’t hurt to apply. These are good hearted people looking to help. At the very least they have changed our lives and we are incredibly greatful for it.

An absolute amazing organization the gold standard for helping veterans! They do their research and homework on each individual veteran to make sure they are the most deserving they are heavy favorites to purple heart COMBAT WOUNDED VETERANS the real heros who deserve the most love and respect but dont get it! I can not say enough good things about them 17 years after being wounded and going thru hell this was the first organization to help me because they help the most deserving!

I first went hunting at the end of 2018. It was a dove hunt to south Texas. It was a blast. The people hosting were considerate and just great people, and the other guys hunting were so much fun. There is something I just can't describe that is special about a hunt. It may have a little to do with getting away from the hustle and bustle of life for a while or the excitement of the hunt, but it has a lot to do with the people you meet.
After the hunt, my guide told me guys sometimes guys cancel on trips at the last minute. He asked if I would be able to go on short notice. Twice I got called a day or two out from the weekend of the hunt. Guys cancelled and the foundation had open slots. So, twice I got to deer hunt. The last hunt had four slots and only three went, but things happen and people sometimes can't go. I found the two follow on hunts, while the people themselves were unique, was the same as the dove hunt. Wonderful people that really cared about the vets.
I would like to add, I have applied for four homes. I have been denied every time. However, the homes I have applied for were all given to veterans that needed a home, too. The award is posted on twitter, and I have seen who has gotten them. I know, I am not the only veteran in the world. Congrats to those who have been awarded. Maybe I'll try again.
So, in conclusion, I would like to thank the military warrior support foundation for what they have done for me, and I would encourage you, the reader, to trust them. If you are a combat vet, sign up for their programs. Don't think you're not hurt enough. The guys and I will be waiting around the camp fire for you. We would like to see you there.

1st, I’d like to go to bat for Mwsf, in regards to the 2 negative reviews on here. It bothers me to see them because they paint a false picture. The organization is here to help, nothing else. MWSF has done so much for wounded vets and the families of the heros who gave their lives for our country.
-They process so many applications, that it’s impossible for everyone to receive an award. If that were not the case, the entire veteran community would have a home. They just don’t have enough funding or resources to help everyone, because if they did, I’m positive they would! Until MWSF called, I never won anything or awarded anything. Please, before you leave a negative review, remember that there are almost 50,000 veterans of the war on terror who have also been wounded in combat and are Purple Heart recipients. Aside from that, there are nearly 500,000 total Purple Heart recipients from conflicts from before the war on terrorism, combined with recipients of the war on terrorism, who are still alive. It’s selfish to point blame because you didn’t get the result you wanted.
This organization relies heavily on independent donors and donations from other organizations and companies.
I applied and when I didn’t hear back right away, I just assumed it wouldn’t happen. Sometimes that how life goes. For people to leave a negative review for an organization as amazing as mwsf, because they simply weren’t picked is a joke.

Mwsf, helped change my life. I was contacted about 4 months after applying for a home and they asked if I was still interested(of course I was!) not only did I receive a home, but I was connected with a financial mentor who invested so much time and effort into me. She became much more than just a financial mentor. She became a life line for me during a hard divorce in which I almost lost my two kids. I dealt with depression and loneliness, as well as PTSD and other issues that stemmed from being wounded in combat. At one point, I was neglecting my bills and didn’t care about anything. I was so consumed with forgetting my pain, that I started drinking a lot and ignoring my responsibilities. Although it was so easy for me to make a plan and start taking steps to fix things on my own, I kept putting them off. I was ashamed to talk about things to people, but in time, I opened up to my mentor, and trusted her like a family member. My mentor went SO FAR above and beyond to get me in line. She was my angel. She was tough and firm, but she also cared more than anyone else at the time. She got me back on track and helped me focus on the important things in life. It’s been over a year since the deed to my home was signed over to me. Since then, I sold it, and used the money to buy a new home closer to my children. I’m with my kids almost everyday now, and life is amazing. I’m happy and I have a new appreciation for life! Besides the home, mwsf gave me so many other blessings. I’m a new person, and I’ll always be grateful. Thank you Dedrea, and all the staff at MWSF. I can honestly say I don’t know where I would be in life without you.

they either give to people that work for them and made friends with the higher ups like General Leroy Sisco, or if they feel they can profit off your photo. I was lied to by them for over a year saying they were willing to help me as Im a purple heart recipient deployed twice as infantry and have been fighting terminal brain cancer since June 2009. I was led on until after over a year I finally hear the truth that I was never being considered but know of several with minor injuries to receive homes. To be fair they never declare what process they use to determine who gets help with one of their homes but also feel that hearing about several people who were friends with them were promised a house before they even applied for one. But I guess thats life no one said it was fair, just don't like how they are not really held to much of a standard.

This is truly an amazing organization. I have had the privilege of hunting with them a couple times and have volunteered on two hunts for the foundation. The camaraderie alone that we veterans get when we meet is amazing. The ranch owners and guides have given us amazing hunts and hospitality. I appreciate all you do MWSF.
