Jill and her team are skilled in their approach to mental health. I learned long ago that one person can not be all things to all people. Jill understands that a strong, knowledgeable team in different areas is essential in this complex medical world, and this structure better serves her patients. Once you meet Jill, it is evident she is compassionate and wants to help. They recently had staff changes because they were unsuitable to promote Jill's passion for helping others. It is a blessing they are gone because when you cut dead branches from your practice, it begins to thrive. Mentally Strong Parker is a great place to help me be happier.

Jill is like my 10th psychiatrist in like 3 years. The others were not able to help me. There was a mix up at my very first appointment and the staff was able to still squeeze me in without any issue. If I have a problem, I know it’ll get fixed. We’ve had a few bumps of prescriptions not getting sent in, but it’s always resolved the same day. Her students are knowledgeable and make the appointment go better. I have never looked forward to seeing my psychiatrist but it’s not something I hate doing anymore. I look forward to Jill being my lifelong psychiatrist. Thank you, Jill, Jenny, and staff for helping me get back to solid grounds.

I’ve been seeing Jill at Mentally Strong for about 2 years now. I am confident in her when it comes to my care. She is very thorough with my medication checks. I’ve started Counseling with her as well. I am apart of the LGBTQ+ community and she has welcomed me with open arms. We have researched together on different topics and learned together not just me. I would recommend Mentally Strong to anyone that is struggling with mental health.

We initially chose Mentally Strong Parker because of the positive reviews, but wow— what a mistake. We wanted a supportive and professional place for our child, but instead, we walked into a complete mess.

At first, they’re incredibly nice— they get you set up, schedule your appointment, and make everything seem great. But once you actually show up, it’s like they’re run by a bunch of clowns. The warmth and care you’d expect from a mental health provider? Completely absent. The moment we walked in, they got straight to business— no effort to make our child feel comfortable, no welcoming presence, just a cold, clinical process. For a place that’s supposed to specialize in mental health, that’s absolutely unacceptable, especially for a first visit.

Things only got worse from there. They took our child back for an intake with strangers they had never met— without even asking us as parents to come along for comfort. That was nerve-wracking enough, but they also gave us zero explanation of what to expect or how our child would be treated. We were just left in the waiting area, completely in the dark.

And then came one of the weirdest moments. When it was time to see the therapist, the receptionist said, “Ok, the owner will see you now.” I mean…what? The owner? Are we at a therapy office or some kind of sketchy business operation? How about just referring to the person by name? It was bizarre and unprofessional.

But the real kicker? They assigned our child to a student therapist— someone still in school, not even fully licensed. We were told this student would be graduating soon… yeah, turns out that wasn’t true. And apparently, they have multiple student therapists seeing patients. How is this okay?

Despite all these red flags, we still tried to give them a chance. But after the first visit, we needed to call back to schedule future appointments. We left messages three separate times— even included the dates we were available— and got zero response. Nothing. It was like they just didn’t care.

At that point, we gave up. This place is beyond disappointing. If you’re looking for a therapist for your child, do yourself a favor and stay far away from Mentally Strong Parker. Finding good, available mental health care is hard enough, but this place will only leave you frustrated and let down.

Jill is the NP and I can honestly say (at 64 years of age and over 40 years of therapies) of all the therapists and practices that I have come across she and her team-Jenny, Kenny-and others-and others at her practice , they truly are kind, compassionate, open and accepting. The focus here (which is different from therapies in the past) is identifying what biological issues may need medication, and also how to help you move forward-even with baby steps-into forming a healthy identity separate from your biological issues and into a healthy life where contentment may become the norm.
I have been going to Mentally Strong Parker since Jill started the practice and can not recommend them more highly.
For those of you that struggle with being pigeonholed and questioned by old school groups, I strongly suggest you try them.
A genuine diamond in the rough”rough” seas of psychiatric practices.

I cannot say enough good things about Mentally Strong Parker. I became a patient about a year ago and have seen this practice evolve, grow and become something truly special. I feel as though the staff are my second “family” when I walk through the door. They always greet me with a smile and seem genuinely happy to see me every few weeks. Jenny is fantastic at the desk. She knows me by name and is always willing to bend over backwards to fit me into the schedule or call if there are cancellations that work for me (without me having to lift a finger!).

Jill has become such a valued part of my mental health journey. She challenges me, helps me reframe my thinking, celebrates my highs and meets me at my lows. No other mental health professional has helped me the way she and her practice have. My life has truly changed since becoming her patient and I will forever be grateful.

Look no further than Mentally Strong Parker. If you want to feel seen, be understood, and improve your mental health (no matter the obstacle) I promise you this team will make it happen and be there for you all along your journey.

Highly recommend. Jill is one of the most caring and selfless individuals I know. She speaks from the heart, and loves helping others. She has helped me so much with my mental health, and instills hope. The office is clean and extremely welcoming. She does not judge and makes you feel safe and heard. It is great knowing a clinic like this is in Parker! I have had to drive to Denver in the past for mental health services which didn't touch the level of services they offer.
