It's a very pretty facility unlike their sister location off of Colorado. I am hesitant to recommend this place though because I believe they like many health care professional centers such as Acadia are in it to extort the insurance companies. Most PHP programs are two week programs - at Alis I was told they don't like to set limits and that most folks are there 6+weeks. At $3,500+ per day per kid no wonder they want to keep kids there instead of helping them transition. From other therapists I have heard that is potentially detrimental to the kids as it's hard to transition out.

My kids meds were forgotten twice the few days we were there.

The front desk folks are extremely nice, but we were told the therapists are not qualified to deal with challenges that may come up, and only know only the basics. One of the staff complained to a group that my kid was in that they are underpaid (which is just not appropriate to share with kids.)

The entire staff is fantastic, from the first call to my kid's graduation, they have been quick to respond and have answered any questions along the way. They have changed my perspective on the mental health industry. Thank you to everyone at the Denver location. Wonderful job Alis. I would recommend them to any parent.

The Alis Behavioral Health team is awesome! Colorado is lucky to have this resource when higher levels of care are needed for youth. The referral process is seamless as the intake team responds almost immediately to inquiries so parents are not left waiting and wondering about their availability. They are also friendly and helpful if you have questions about what IOP and PHP entail, how it can help and whether it's the level of care needed for each individual's situation. I recently had a student complete Alis Behavorial Health's IOP program and it was amazing, the process of to get them enrolled was seamless and their therapist had a great impact on our student! My initial contact at Alis Behavioral Health was Amy. I had been calling around and talking to different programs all day with little progress and when I got on the phone with Amy it was such a warm phone call. She was very knowledgeable, she listen and had such a willingness to help my son and I. She walked me through the program and what they offer and also took interest in my child and his needs on how they can be the best of help to him. I was able to get scheduled right away, with appointment on the books within a week of my call. There was no wait-list. Everyone at Alis seems so caring and really genuinely wanting to help each kiddo that walks through their doors. Such wonderful people and a great program! Thank you for all that you do Alis!!

this place was great.. up until they I’m guessing fired or let go my favorite ABSOLUTE favorite clinician. She was amazing and so good to everyone and did not deserve to lose her job, she always made me feel welcome and safe and just in general better about my self. She helped so much with my home life and school and did everything to make sure everyone around her felt loved I want her back and that’s that. This will not be the end of my complaining.

We highly recommend Alis Behavioral Health! Our oldest child identifies as non-binary and uses they/them pronouns and was struggling at school to self regulate their emotions as well as experiencing suicide ideation and other major mental health issues. Our child immediately felt comfortable with the clinicians who have created an inviting and safe environment. With both individual and group therapy, our child responded quickly and we saw changes in their behavior at home and at school within weeks. We were especially impressed by the creativity that was woven into the therapy (art projects, games, therapy dogs) as well as the effects of the intensive schedule. We are so appreciative of the changes that Alis facilitated for our child and continue to see lasting results.

Where do I begin!?! We got referred to Alis by Raise the Future, which is another great organization. My husband and I are foster parents and that comes with its own challenges. We had struggled to get our foster child the services they needed for quite some time. Thankfully, everyone at Alis was extremely helpful, informative and flexible in our very sticky situation. They have been nothing but kind, understanding and have handled everything with such great love. We are fairly new foster parents and it was refreshing to work with professionals that aligned with our level of care & love for our foster kids. Everyone we have come in contact with has received us with open arms, has heard our concerns & frustrations and have done a spectacular job at working as a team. This is the type of collaboration needed to properly care for a child. They say it takes a village and we’re very glad they’re now a part of ours. The only thing I would change, is working with them sooner! If we ever need services again, we would go out of our way to work with Alis. Mind you, we live a little over an hour away from them. 10/10 would recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
