I would not send anyone here. These people were very abusive to my father. They were supposed to be doing rehab and didn’t and lied to the insurance company and said they did twice a day. Just threw the food tray on the table and not fed him. He had a stroke. Kept him dirty and lost his clothes. The staff were very rude. He got thrown out after 21 days and had the nerve to try to send me a bill which I will not pay. They said he could stay but have to sign everything he owns to them. Greedy facilities. I should have gotten an attorney and sued them for the abuse and neglect. They need to be shut down.

DO NOT SEND A LOVED ONE HERE. One star is too many for this facility. They are so sweet and helpful when you first meet them and then when you get your loved one there you realize very quickly what a good front they put up. They were horribly rude to my grandmothers roommate and wouldn’t help her get in or out of the bed, sit up, eat, anything. She would lay in bed and just cry quietly until someone would finally come in and say “what you cryin for Well what can i do about it” before quickly rushing out. She was a very polite, quite, sound minded elderly woman. They were horrible. My grandmother was there for an infection sustained after surgery and they did not give her her prescribed medicine, didnt change bandages, even had bodily fluids on bandages which were removed at the new facility. Leaving there was the best decision, leaving my grandmother at woodland probably would have killed her. If you have a loved one there, check on them.

In only 3 short months my sister, who is non-mobile, has fallen off the commode when left alone, had shoes stolen, hair brush stolen, body spray stolen and TV remote missing many times. Found her today (Thursday) with a Dr. Pepper sitting on her night stand (that she couldn't even reach) that I had fixed for her Tuesday. Purchased undergarments stolen and has had a severe rash because when she rings to use the bathroom and they take so long she goes on herself. This place was recommended to us by Memorial Hospital as one of the better places, if this is better I'd hate to see the others. Poor care, NO professionalism and zero compassion.....
Don't walk away from this place, RUN!
I'd give zero stars but I had to pick at least one to post.

My friend Garry Pennington was here for around 2 years. The staff was professional, friendly and helpful. I feel at home and was always able to spend valuable time time with Garry. Although our culture and religion was different from most of the folks there that was never a problem. All the people were open minded, kind and neighborly. We never felt out of place or awkward. I believe the best thing that can be done for a dying or incapacitated dear one is to take of them at home; but if that is not possible I do recommend Woodland Village Nursing Center. It is also very conveniently located and the visiting hours are open to your needs.

Patients: Do not tick off the staff. If they get an idea the patient is uncooperative or uncommunicative, sulking or whatever, they will black ball that patient and ignore their requests. Be as self- sufficient as possible. No temper tantrums.
