I've been trying to get the service started for more than 2 months. I just found out that My assigned Case manager is no longer with the company and I only found this out because I tried contacting her and her phone was not in service so I call ad was advised she no longer worked there and I've left 2 messages for Case manager manager and I have yet to be contacted. My insurance company also called for a referral for me and still nothing. This has been a very vexing process because I went several days without food or money to buy food. I'm disabled on social security and can't drive nor st/walk long enough to cook for myself. I've had 3 strokes CHF COPD and blood clots in both legs. I don't know what else to do to stress how much I need this service. I am ready to report meals on wheels to state or government officials but don't know how to get it done or whom else to call. I currently have no food or money and don't know where next meal will come from. This is unacceptable in the year 2000. If I could rate a negative -10or -0. I would

I have been trying to get in touch with Janice to whom called me twice I’ve missed her call due to technical difficulties and health issues and she blocked my number and will not give me a call after I’ve left her a couple of messages trying to get back in touch with her very rude. I wouldn’t recommend this organization to anybody with all this unprofessional and rude behavior. very disgusting behavior not someone I would want to bring me food.

I hope that these individuals that have issues with getting their meals, and getting signed up with meals on wheels have things worked out for them. I finally found out that it takes a referral from a social worker/caseworker to get your meals started and then you must have a current phone number that works for you to get signed up with your assigned case manager in the agency. I have been asked to call my Medicaid Insurance provider and tell them to send payments for the meals. P.S. You need a good running refrigerator or Meals On Wheels will help you get one. My caseworker from my home health agency provided a social worker or someone from your doctor’s offices.

Received MOW meals at East Arlington Library and Rec Center initially in Autumn of 23. After an illness and hospitalization in early 2024, I began receiving meals at my home. Services are exemplary in all ways and really appreciate the wonderful volunteers..such pleasant folks

I have tried calling MULTIPLE times to have Stephanie return my call. My daughter has also tried calling and leaving voicemails. We have left countless messages and have been trying to get a family member signed up for over a month now. I cannot even count how many voicemails we have left. We even have filled out a second application for said family member. This is a sad way to treat those who are trying to help a family member in need, much less the elderly who need the help. I have always thought highly of this organization but I am really unhappy with the lack of service we have received thus far. What is it going to take to get someone to return a phone call? Thanks.

I don't who i talked to just right now, but she was rude. I know the organization is non-profit and ruined by volunteers. However their should still be some accommodation for clients with health issues. I left several messages for two case workers and still haven't heard anything. All i was trying to do was change delivery time. which i was told No by the receptionist and wasn't allowed to leave a message for Carla( CEO).

I was sitting in my living room in 83' heat I am 64 and not in the greatest health so when my Air conditioner stopped blowing out cold air I didn't know what to do. My air couldn't be fixed because they don't make the freon for it any more. I dialed up 211 and they got me to meals on wheels program who were so nice and helped me get a window unit in before I fell out in this hot house. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for anyone who helped get me this unit. God bless you all. What your doing is saving lives.

*050224 Director Jutson is aware of the chronicled below HOWEVER refuses to correct and resume the meals I've been receiving and need. Attn: All sponsors including Bank America please be advised.
*04/26/24update NO meal delivered today and no call/email/0 communication as to why. Emailed Tapia/Deaton and Zuber. Awaiting reply.
*update041124 lady said name was Andrea told me I can't have meal left at neighbor across the street due to late Dr appt although a different lady advised just the day prior to request exactly this way. Andrea further stated I'd be counted as a "late call". Does MOW count themselves for the number of errors and/or mistakes they make?
*update 12/23-MOW ofc claimed drvr couldn't reach me. Meal missed today & Tuesday! 😞*Update 12/15/23 Tapia, Alissa D nor Becky Z RARELY returns calls. Tapia made up comments she claims came from volunteers! Super poor communication with majority of this organization. speaking up & honest =backlash. Younger generation refuse constructive criticism for improvement.😞
*****UPDATE 09-13-23@ 12:22 finally got 3 minute home visit Tapia. she crossed the street for 2 minutes with another MOW.
Marie canceled 2 meals in error &never took accountability!
Mr Rockwell sent home delvy forms to community center I'd been attending asking me to complete.3 weeks of pure mistakes resulting of NO meal or replaced cold meal!Tapia seemingly could care less. She barely listened& kept talking over me. I told her I've NO working refrigerator, she said I can't pick AND choose merely when I asked for small apt sized.I've not heard ONE ounce about getting one any size since April (6 months and counting), I've no refrigerator to this day! She's not kept in contact with me as she initially stated.Today Tonya stated MOW delivers for over 5,000 ppl and mistakes happen!MOW y'all can do better considering the funding you're getting for this organization! It takes a caring, compassionate people to work on behalf of our senior citizen community to which many of the above mentioned hasn't demonstrated to any believable degree. 👵🧓👴😟😢😔
*Side note - they ONLY have the higher positive review rating because their very own workers made favorable comments on this organizations behalf! See the many 'orientation' type comments! 😟😟😟😟😟
