This place is a joke. I don’t know how the place is open and running. One of the workers there, (still unsure if they are a n actual nurse or not) Identified themselves as the leading doctor themselves! They hung up on me several times then proceeded to not let me speak to my minor or give me updates, saying I am not the biological parent and tried to give my child away….. to a complete stranger !!!! This Experience has been and still is an ongoing trauma in my life . This place is in NO way, anyway, anywhere to send any living human or thing….. not even your worse enemy.

This place needs to be shut down, it is terrifying as a patient. If you love the person you are suggesting to be put in here, please reconsider. This is not a place that helps people, it is a prison. Everything is run down, dirty, the nurses and doctors have no interest in acknowleding you unless it's your allotted 5 minutes in their schedule. They also put aggressive patients with docile ones, i was verbally and physically assaulted multiple times while staying here.

if i could give this review 0 stars i would. i came here as an autistic person with bpd, ocd and c-ptsd and was having just an utter meltdown. i begged to stay here and there were people outside threatening to piss on me and they left me out there for about 20-35 minutes before almost turning me away. i told them if i go home, i wouldve * myself.

once im in, they pulled me at around 1am and gave me my stuff, and told me i wasnt in enough of a crisis to stay and that there wasnt any other resources they could give me and they took me home. that night i had attempted as i said i would and didnt receive any care.

do not send yourself or your loved ones to this place. its awful and i forgot to mention but they also have bedbugs!!!

Do not, I repeat, do not allow your family member to go here! This place is awful. My sister is there and got hit by another person, and they did nothing. This is just a holding tank until they can get a bed at another facility. If you can avoid this place, I would avoid it like a plague. Sadly, they forget these are people's loved ones and human beings! Our health care system is so broken!!!!

Also, the second time my sister was there, they allowed her to leave. We showed up to visit, and she was gone! She was not healthy enough to leave. We found her roaming the streets in the middle of winter in shorts, a tank top, and no shoes or socks! Disgusting that they care so little about people's loved ones!

Fwd:Can't get in touch with the nurse today because she is in Lake Isabella . I called the drugstore, and they have already been calling the Dr. I phoned his mobile phone and it has been disconnected. I called his landlines, No Answer ! I just sent an email, so I'll see if that works ! No wonder people commit suicide.

Not really a 24 hour chrisis center. I brought a relative(who is a minor) and the doors were locked. We were repeatedly told on the telephone that if you waite outside eventually staff lets people in. NOT an emergency center. Everyone waits and sleeps outside for hours to receive treatment.

A relative of mine threatened to end her life.

I went here to see if her counselor could... maybe...call her? She was a patient. I was hoping his voice could snap her out of it. I don't know.

The receptionist asked for her name. The other receptionist moved closer to listen into our conversation.

I told her and verified our address.

After a pause and a few clicks, she told me that she cannot give out personal information.

I told her ok. But can her counselor call her?

She repeated herself and gave me the police department phone number.

Apparently, if someone wants to end it all, it's up to THEM to ask for help.

I guess you have to call the police on them if they don't want to get help. :/

I was sent here after being in the hospital.. It was not very appealing on the eyes. But all of the staff was really nice. They made me feel comfortable not like a crazy person. One of the staff walked me out to my husband and her words of encouragement helped me out a lot to know what i was feeling was normal and i was not alone but it's okay to seek and get therapy for my Trauma and what i am dealing with in life....
