We hosted my husband’s 50th birthday party at Magic City Pickleball Club, and it was absolutely perfect! The team was incredibly easy to work with—so helpful, professional, and accommodating from start to finish. The space itself is amazing and was a huge hit with all of our guests. Everyone had a blast, and we couldn’t have asked for a better venue. Highly recommend for any event!

I live out of town and came into Birmingham for a wedding. I had a Friday off so I showed up to their Friday "open play". I'm a beginner and the gentleman working the desk was very friendly and was happy to set me up with a group to play with. It was a fantastic and welcoming group. Ten dollar drop-in fee is reasonable for a couple hours of play. Great facility with an awesome view too! Also clean bathrooms and a water-filling station. Oh and they even had alcoholic beverages and a lounge! Just wish I had a place this awesome in my town. 🙂

Great place and Awesome Instructors! I was a complete beginner in Pickleball when I started and after a few classes, I felt energized, challenged, and inspired to keep practicing. The lessons are well-structured and tailored to individual needs The instructors make learning a fun and engaging experience. Highly recommend!

A friend and I went to play a singles match here and reserved a court for 1.5 hours, we wanted to test it out and see if we wanted to become members potentially (spoiler alert: nope!).

The facilities are nice and the person working the front desk was nice enough, they are what earned the two stars at all. We had a fine time up until close to the end of our time slot. We were already paying attention to the time and were ready to get off when it ended. The front desk guy even came by to warn us when it was getting close. We had roughly 3 or 4 minutes left and wanted to finish our last point.

Unfortunately after the front desk person walked off, the four guys waiting for their time slot to start after ours decided instead to just yell at us to get off the court because we were going over (we weren't).

So we packed up (in a rush..) to avoid conflict and let them have it, they started walking in before we were even off the court (again, we still had about 2 min in our time slot to finish still) and I just asked them if next time they wouldn't mind letting us play all our time slot out before rushing us out of the court and they had nothing to say but did NOT like that... One of them even started puffing his chest out like he wanted to fight over it.... Like guys this is not that deep. This is pickleball. They are the EXACT reason Pickleball players often have a bad name among other sports (especially other racket sports) -- entitlement and lack of etiquette JUST like that.

Court (and general) etiquette seems to be something this place is severely lacking, or at least the people that play there are. That is the experience I had...

Top-notch facility that’s well run. Great for beginners along with pickleball veterans. Plenty of balls supplied on each court. Even a high-end pickleball machine that’s available for use.

My wife and I were excited to play pickleball here because of online recommendations. However, we have never even gotten a chance to play or visit due to the convoluted process of trying to do so.
I called this place during their listed business hours and was met with an elderly lady on a voicemail recording describing everything under the sun (new paddles, current events? ) except information about how to schedule play, times and dates, etc.
After emailing with no response a few times I finally called again and got on the phone with the same elderly lady. She let me know that non members are not a priority to them, and that I probably didn’t get a response to my email because they are full for the weekend.
She was very dismissive and condescending. Needless to say, we will not be visiting here
