I was subject to some malicious rumors and the minister of this church told me about them. I asked her to help by getting back to the people who were spreading the rumors and explain to them there was another side to the story. She was not willing to do that. It is my opinion that when a member of a community is having a hard time because of false rumors a pastor can help people get along better and should attempt to do so.
