If you have a family member in there could they come spend a night then go back the next day or does it not work like that?

This is my first time in the shelter. Better experience than I thought it would be. All staff are kind, supportive, helpful. They really want you to succeed. There are many rules and some chores which are assigned weekly, but that's only fair considering I have a roof over my head and warmth. I will definitely come back if I ever find myself in this situation again. BTW They provide breakfast and dinner.

People made to leave on weekends,not able to keep up on there breakfast items see a great deal of favoritism,and letting people by with coming in while intoxicated favoritism and certain staff picking on certain people and disabled,And doesn't push authority on house rule when it comes to cleaning!!! And staff going through clients, personal things without clients being present and certain employees running the place like they're in a military camp and picking on people with disabilities to make their feels self feel stronger about themselves. They really needs to be something done about this when reported to director nothing's ever done also allowing certain individuals to come in drunk and hide and kicking other ones out but certain ones get by with it and I have reported it and nothing was ever DONE also, staff members turning off lights and then coming in and blaming clients that they're doing wrong when they're the ones that's turning the lights off

Not just a place for the homeless to sleep. They will address your needs and provide what they are able. No pressure, prerequisites, or punishment. Literally saving lives each and every day. If you’re looking for a place to donate where your contributions will be appreciated and put to good use, this is it.

Would not take brand new donations!!! I understand that they may not have had room for blankets....but wouldn't except gloves or socks or chapstick All brand new. Felt like it was a waste of my time! Very sad I also had a box of flashlights with batteries.

I’m actually staying here now, because I’m homeless and in transition. So far so good, a lot of rules, but can’t complain because it is a homeless shelter, and I get to be with the one I love for 10 years. My fiancé and never my husband, Adam. Maybe one day he’ll bite the bullet.

Excellent establishment!! If you think it’s only about them helping you, YOUR WRONG!! They provide you with a caseworker & case plan that if you follow your chances of success is greatly increased. Your encouraged to help yourself & quite frankly they provide you with endless possibilities for success.
