The staff/ volunteers are very welcoming and treat you comfortablely.good variety of foods, it's clean.they recently repaved their parking lot. I've also volunteered myself in the past and still do sometimes when I'm able to now that I'm working.thanks for all you guys do.much appreciated.

This food pantry always so nice and helpful every time I've been there! I have never felt judged or felt like they are being put out to have to help me! At Christmas every year they do a special Holiday box,(it's done a little differently then your normal monthly or even weekly produce visit)! This last time I was there just this month, I went their with a specific need in mind- I needed Baby Formula for my grandson-it was 2 days before my payday and in desperate need- we had thought we had purchased enough but due to Our Little Man's increasing appetite,we were running a little short)! When I went thru getting our food order and came to the Baby Section- they had the different sized diapers but No Formula this time! I continued thru with a very appreciative smile outside when inside my panic level was increasing dramatically! Not quite sure what I was going to do, I had approached Karen***(- now anyone that goes there they know who Karen is and just how important her role is to this Food Pantry!!! I met Karen first, years prior when I volunteered hours to help the pantry with it's increasing family percentage of help going higher every year, absolutely loved Karen as nd how upbeat and helpful she was even while going thru her own personal dilemma's! ( You would never guess it,only if you knew her))***Still not sure what I was going to say while I was getting closer to her,. I just explained the situation to her and asked if by chance they had some in the back that they just hadn't got out out yet? Without hesitation she said Gimme a quick minute to check on something and I will be right back! Returning withing minutes to me, she had a can in her hands and I could of cried right then and there, as time in my time of desperate need she was MY ANGEL!!! IT HAPPENED TO BE A FORMULA THAT Was for a age a little older for my grandson but in a pinch I was so very gracious that she took the time out of her busy schedule to help my family! I Wish Lutheran Food Pantry and all of their workers and volunteers nothing but the best as they are Lifesavers to so many and Never get Thanked Enough!!!

The younger lady on thursdays at the desk is very kind and helpful, the older lady that is at the desk early friday mornings is very snobby and rude, should really try and find someone else for fridays as she made a new person my mother needing help not want to go back there. Please get a new job if your gonna talk to people in need like there trash for trying to get help.

Luther social services has always been top notch. Their food pantry is really nice too. Always have great people working there.
