I recently had a house fire and lost everything including my home.So I called 211 and they just pretty much cut me off on what I was talking about and said there is no one that can help me. But yet, everybody's telling me to call 211, every agency. What a waste of time. I guess they're only good for food and outdated resources.

Wonderful people helping people in need immediately. Full of information and willing to share it when appropriate. I will recommend them to anyone who has an appropriate need and will do the necessary work to achieve their goals. Thank you very much for all the emotional support, the referrals to places to solve my various problems, and just being a friend when I needed one. Fantastic agency!!!!

Today was the second time that I called for assistance. The normal wait time can be up to and hour or more. You are prompt to allow the agent to call you back without loosing your place in line which was very helpful. I only gave them 3 stars because I called two different times unfortunately I spoke to the same woman she sounds older and on each call she tried to talk down to me and she has probably done this with several people. She rudely cut me off when I expressed any input or had any questions she seem to have an attitude that she was doing me a favor when she is just an hourly employee. I didn't appreciate her attitude with me by telling me that I should listen to her and take notes I hung up on her the first time unfortunately because of the nature of the call and the urgency to try to get my situation handled I had to deal with her again and she had the same attitude both times on each call. If these calls are monitored the woman that I spoke to today should be couched on how she handles calls and her attitude.

One star for food line. Was on hold 40 min. I'm physcially disabled and cant walk far distances and tried to locate near by emergency food assistance weak and hungry, was told either walk the long distance to nearest pantry or get a part time job. Or fly a sign. If I would have know this I wouldn't have wasted 40 min on hold!

I keep calling and wait through the hold music and someone answers and stays quiet. When I say hello they hang up. This has happened a few times now back to back. I can here them on the other end.

I called HandsOn earlier today and the lady I talked too kept calling me a liar and telling me that the call was being recorded and nothing was adding up. She got very hostile and finally told me "Go spend the money you do have on a hotel, we're all filled up". She said her name was Dawn and if that's the kind of Representatives this organization has no wonder there's so many homeless on the streets. If you spend $50-100 on a hotel nightly in this freezing weather you will end up homeless, broke, and never be able to move up in life. Salvation Army recommended this organization

I was at Guidestone.(NOT Hands On Central Ohio) We had an appointment with one of the Most Qualified child psychiatrist, Susan. She has worked at The Buckeye Ranch, along with other places, and has worked with some of the most challenging clients...so I really trust her opinion when it comes to my son.
