I’m from Louisiana and I’m trying to see where and when do the list for Section 8 opens up. We have housing in Louisiana but every place I have called down here requires you to have an income first before you can get a place to live. I can down here for change but I’m having such a hard time just trying to get help with the process of being on Section 8 cause I never did this before and I pray no one have to experience what I have these last 3 months with this move.

A sudden disfunction with my water heater left me without water in my home. Although this office arranged for fast help, the service wasn't complete, and I was left without the ability to shower. I encourage presence and a check-up on all repairs made before assuming that any service is complete and satisfactory. (Even if you do not have to pay.)

I’m very thankful for the LHOP loan we received in 2017. However, there needs to be statements sent, not just the coupons. It’s nice knowing what you still owe rather that just tossing you money to the bank and getting a simple receipt that only shows what you paid, not what amount went to principle, interest ect. And no one ever answers. Please get a better payment system for people. Or, at least send a balance when you send the coupons.

Established in 1974 as the first chartered housing authority in the county, the Loveland Housing Authority (LHA) owns and manages property and administers rent subsidy programs to provide eligible low-income individuals and families quality, safe, affordable housing in our communities. LHA is forward thinking and always working to find solutions for more opportunities for home and community through affordable housing.

Reporting a reckless employee speeding down 287 from Fort Collins to Loveland. If you see this plate be cautious, he does not care about the other drivers on the road.

Housing authority is kicking people out and stealing money from people for disability. They're putting it into their more expensive complexes and if you don't believe me, check their budgets HUD or someone really needs to get up here and find out what's going on cuz they were even unwilling to work with my dad who's disabled until he could get his place cleaned up granite he is disabled and didn't understand the paperwork that they sent him and he didn't get time to get help with it.

I’ve been on a wait list for 6 years. When I was first put on, I was homeless, in an abusive relationship and a mother of two children. I have done my due diligence and responded to every letter and phone call. I have attended any meeting or appointment asked of me. I have NEVER been offered a place in these 6 years. I get a phone call, no voicemail, so I return to see what I missed. When I called, Merna informed me, that my status was “inactive” due to the recent purge in April of 2021. I told her I responded to this letter and have been waiting for 6 years.

I am in a MUCH better place in life now. Working a great job, going to school full time, no longer in that bad relationship, and raising my kids all at once. ALL BY MYSELF! I went ahead and let Merna know that she can keep me off the list. They have failed me and my family. I highly recommend reaching out to other sources! I’ve been able to get on my feet and out of living in hell, NO THANKS TO LOVELAND HOUSING AUTHORITY. I’m saddened by the time and effort I put into believing they would, or could help me.
