On October 29 we held a memorial service for my beloved uncle at Los Osos Valley Memorial Park. We would like to thank Matthew, Christopher, Melissa, Doris, Christina and the grounds crew for insuring that his memorial service was everything we had asked for. From working with us on the photo montage video and music played at his service, the handouts and prayer cards, his portrait, the flowers and decoration of the chapel and alcove where we ended the service where his ashes were interned, their attention to detail was wonderful. Any concerns or questions I had during the planning of the memorial and internment were handled right away and their commitment to providing a peaceful and beautiful service was evident in everything they did.

Very kind people work here, they were compassionate and empathetic to our every need. I feel my Uncle was treated with the utmost respect in having a military burial. The staff here was knowledgable and quickly answered questions and concerns helping us to feel comfortable during such a sad time. Mr. Pitchon was especially helpful and supportive. My Aunt and I are grateful for the staff that work here, I don't know how they do it, dealing with grief day after day and continuing to be supportive and positive for others in the midst of their loss. The grounds could be kept up a bit more, but we mentioned it during our 1st visit and I've already seen improvements. This is a very beautiful and extremely peaceful location.
Thanks to the staff that work here. My family is grateful for you.

Unfortunately in the last two years I’ve lost both of my parents, and my grandpa a few years prior to that. Everyone at dignity memorial in Los Osos was very kind and professional and made an awful task less awful. Linda in particular has been especially helpful, providing customer service that went well beyond the norm, and honestly past what her job probably even required. She went the extra mile for me when she really didn’t have to, and it meant a lot.

This place is really disgraceful. There are dead patches all over the "lawn" so that some plots are green but others where the sprinklers don't reach are dead, brown and neglected. The plots that do get water are overgrown so that you can't see much of the headstones. Weeds are growing everywhere. Some headstones are covered in dirt from the heavy equipment tracks or digging ground squirrels and just left like that. Dried up and dead memorial flowers are just left in place. It's like there is zero care or maintence to the grounds. Given the drought and need to conserve water, I wouldnt even mind the dried up grass if it were consistent across all the plots and still well maintained (weeded an manicured looking) but thats not the case at all. It is just horribly neglected.

Kian was so kind and patient with me as I navigated through the process of planning my end-of-life arrangements at your facility. He gave me the information for where my grandparents are buried where I will eventually rest and made the planning effortless. This is an extremely important decision and one with deep emotions and not to be considered lightly. I’m glad I made the decision to choose your site for my final resting place. Thank you!

The lack of maintenance is disgusting. They have had NO ground crews for over 4 years. The gophers are out of control and headstones are covered with weeds and dirt. Pitiful! A disgrace to Veterans. I wouldn’t bury my pet here.

This place was the worst experience of my life. They treated my father as he was just an object for money. Incredibly disrespectful to my family & even provided a full refund for awful services! No accountability
& HORRIBLE PLACE! Shame on all of you
