This department is ran by the most incompetent and rude people. If you are calling for help don't waste your time. They expect you to call knowing everything about their department yet the very people who work there don't know krap. The secretary who answers the phone "Arthur" is going to refuse to transfer you to people you request to reach or give you their emails, even though all of that is public information since it is a public department. I had to let this low IQ chump know that he works for a public department and that information is PUBLIC and listed on their website, not only that but I (tax payer) am even allowed to know the salary of everyone who works there since they are public servants. Yes I looked them up 🙂 Moving along, I had the terrible misfortune of being passed along by the over earning under-working "chief of contracts" to his miserable rude secretary Mia. It was a very irritating experience talking to her on the phone. I hope she finds a job she doesn't hate one day. I tried explaining to her that we are a fairly NEW organization and she still seemed very irritated that she had to explain the contracting process to me. She send me links to krap thats already listed on their website. Sorry for wanting clarification regarding some of the steps. These savages will have no pity for your inexperience and make you feel bad for asking questions. Professional departments voluntarily explain things and break it down in 5 min. With this diva I had to spend like 20-30 min. on the phone because she was wasting time repeating useless information instead of answering my actual questions. Anyways, prime example of a low grade government department with low-grade union government employees. Contracts are created by the over-earning chief of contracts.. the requirements are a disaster. Our communities are filled with drug addicts, but this department has better things to do than to worry about Substance Abuse issues. Useless experience.
