Super informative information about Longmont! The Lego exhibit was also very well done and fun for the kids. The little upstairs tree house and arcade machine leave a lot to be desired. If there were bigger permanent exhibits for the kids it might be worth an annual membership. Overall very nice place. Should be free or significantly discounted though for locals to learn about their community. Make it part of taxes or something. People would pay for improvements and expansion. We are proud of our town. But with 3 small kids, paying for 5 tickets to come here often isn't in our expendable budget. Just a thought! Also maybe consider some food options to make it really a place we could spend all day at.

Great museum with fun activities for young kids. The tree house space is awesome, and the whole family loved the (temporary) Lego exhibit. The building in itself is also pretty cool, and the staff is really kind.

Great experience for all ages. Wonderful nature themed play area for the little ones upstairs that has puppets and wooden games, on the 2nd floor there's a vintage arcade game and a small chunk of the moon with some interesting moon related facts, the lower level has an area dedicated to the 100 year flood, historical local photography, and local history. We played with the flood game for like 15 minutes! Highly recommend for an hour or two of fun.

A really well-done history museum with interesting displays and a clear narrative. And there are lots of old-school interactive elements that are great for kids. (I liked the one where you divert water to where it needs to go.)

The "Duality" gallery curated by Gregg Deal is really amazing - contemporary works by indigenous artists. Definitely a must-see. Then for kids, there is a treehouse play area up in the tower that's a lot of fun and had great views.

Great place to take young children. The permanent exhibit does a very nice job explaining local history. The Ruckus Rodeo art exhibit by Fred Grooms, was a very nice surprise. We spent 20 minutes looking at the art exhibit, alone.

A hidden gem that has thoughtfully curated cultural exhibits, a film series, as well as a great historic overview of the area. Also - an awesome kid area/ "treehouse" on the top floor with an incredible view of the front range mountains. Reasonably priced ($5 - 8/adults). Not to be missed. 👍
