It's systematically set up to lead you into more trouble. Case managers are hard to get ahold of unless they are physically there. The building needs a remodeling, the place is pretty run down. Staff is fairly nice, some staff have been rude to my family members when they have arrived at the front desk. Case managers seem to be annoyed with helping individuals with needs often, I have only met one case manager who has a positive attitude with clients thus far. The new administration has made it tougher on people who just want rehabilitation, such as incentives that give clients a reason to work towards improving. It's as if the company enjoys punitive action. Incentives for following through or going above standards should be a must when helping individuals towards a brighter future, not making them feel like they are in prison. There is no respect for those who work grave yard shifts either, for those who work the night shifts I pray your time here is better than mine, for example I have to buy most of my meals from outside the program because their meal schedule doesn't align with my overnight work schedule. They give chores that don't align with your work schedule, even if you did your chore and forget to sign off on it, there is punishment and they won't review camera's as proof. They do NOT provide safe enough ladder to use for climbing onto a top bunk bed. They don't provide adequate sanitation supplies, rags for cleaning from Cintas Company have not been replaced in over 2 weeks. As a person trying to be a better individual for society, being here has made me feel extremely low between treatment, interactions, and witnessing how the facility is becoming more punitive.

They let me do some artwork. I got to save up money. I got to develop the habit of organizing a schedule. I got to communicate on new levels and see resolutions for things that where un-expected. There's always the stuff you don't like that's easy to point out. Some of the staff rock. It's an uncomfortable opportunity to grow with a community and become a better person.

Really bad experience Amanda was very rude went in to be a sponsor she made me wait 30 min to ultimately tell me nothing and act like she was just too busy to do her job she is always in a bad mood and unhappy to help the residents or their family members very unapproachable and angry the case managers don’t turn in paperwork that the residents have to turn in to level up and return home.

This place is set up for failure if you have a loved one sent here. The staff is very unfriendly & very rude.
My son was there & he was denied an appt. with his probation officer & appt"s with his mental health support.
I am still trying to retrieve belongings: phones & a tablet...they conveniently arent available when i arrive 5 minutes befoe a phone call saying , yes they are here, come pick them up.
Last of all, I asked for the 3 wks of rent they received when my son was sent back to jail.
They took my personal phone that my son was given to call...he had permission to use it, they confiscated it. Iasked for it back, they refused.
When my son went back to jail and i had to pick up his belongings...was my phone found? No...no explanation of what happened. I was told it was contraband...allsaid and done my phone was never returned...they were the last to have it. When i demanded it back they said he probably hid it or gave it to someone.
This place is more corrupt than the people they monitor...
Not over, i will speak to whoever will will listen in the city and state legislation.

It's a place to be and transition back into society. It a good place to be if you are willing to make the changes. The staff here is really good people for the most part. It can be a hard place to be if you're not willing to change though.

This is a run down old skate rink where they house individuals who have broken the law. They charge these individuals $17 dollars a day which comes out to $510 a month. With 50-60 clients being house there that is 25,500-26,800 a month. Even after the very low cost of staff, food and rent you would think they would have enough money to fix things up a bit. Yet for how much money this building brings in a month it is one of the worst and most run down in Longmont. Especially for being on main st. Actually going from 3rd and Main to second and main is like day to night. Community corrections is a scam that most cities let operate however with out repercussions. They eather need to remodel or relocate. Unless Longmont likes to show case their criminals on Main St.
