We are fostering the sweetest little kitty and thought we lost him no longer than 5 minutes after he got here. The girls from the shelter came to my house and helped me search all over. Even patrolling the neighborhood. We eventually found him hiding under a crib. They made me feel better, telling me he's just nervous and trying to acclimate. The next day he was out and cuddling, like he's been here his whole life. They definitely went above and beyond to help and we appreciate that so much. Here's a picture of our sweet boy, Hank.

Meet Jack the Ripper: our very own pound puppy!! His smile is the thing nightmares are made of, he bites toes, digs holes in the yard and trims tree branches (by jumping up and yanking them down). He’s a whole lot of dog - the doggiest dog - but he has help mend both human and canine hearts after losing our sweet little pug several months back.

We got a kitten from here and she is great! Her name is Chappy (She looks like Charlie Chaplin) She is so fun! She plays hide and seek with us. I'll run up to her, touch her, and run to another room. Then she will chase me into the room and run out once she sees me. The staff at the humane society are so sweet and kind. I look forward to visiting sometime!

I was the victim of a violent dog attack. It bit me 8 times, including my face. So I will be permanently disfigured. The Humane Society handles dog bites and I've left 3 messages and cannot get a call back to find out if the dog owner was ticketed or not. The vicious dog is still living next door to me and I have PTSD and am scared to walk outside. What is their deal

Just a FYI,. the shelter is only open to the public from Thursday to Sunday 11-4, we are trying to get google to change the hours listed. On a different note, I know all the people out there and they are serious animal lovers!

We drove 1.5 hours and once we got there they told us they were closed. We got there at 440 and they don't close till 530. They have forever lost any business of ours and we will be ADVISING others to not come here as well. The staff (minus one lady with short red hair) repeatedly told us in front of our kids that we would NOT get approved for a pet because of our living situation. We live on 2.5 acres, own a house, and still won't? No thank you. Staff was very rude (minus the one lady). I hope this company gets new staff or does something to make their reviews alot more positive. I do also own my own business, that works with pets... I will be voicing my opinion loudly.
