Mainly disappointed that material presented to children at school uses false language. Animals do not "give" us anything, we take it from them by force. If we cannot be honest and teach children the truth of our food sources then it's best to not visit schools to spread false information.

Love, love, love Local Matters and their mission! I’ve learned so much, connected with so many amazing like-minded souls, and have had such wonderful, enriching experiences. I would definitely recommend the cooking classes, tours of the supermarket, community conversations, and gardening classes! All the instructors and volunteers are dedicated, helpful, and encouraging!

We are not happy with our meal kits. The collard greens were molded. Strawberries were not ripe and not edible. $30 for two meal kits, totally not worth the price. So much cheaper to purchase the ingredients at the store.
I stopped purchasing produce from the Veggie Van because the produce was old. Now I know why the Veggie Van offers affordable prices, old vegetables / fruit.
