Horrible business, avoid at all costs. My wife had one appointment do to horrible customer service. We were charged for her appointment back in July when our insurance was supposed to cover cost. Turns out the Group gave our insurance the incorrect information which made us out of network with this group. About a month later and numerous phone calls to our insurance and Linder Psych, Linder admitted they were being bought out and there tax ID number was changing. They had submitted the incorrect tax ID number to our insurance and our insurance wouldn't cover the cost. Linder had finally fix everything with our insurance, but won't refund us till they get payment from our insurance. So they messed up and mistakenly charged us and won't pay us back what they owe us till they get money first.
Update as of 11/15/21: Linder has now been paid by us and our insurance company. We have been told over and over we would receive our refund but still have not. This place is a scam.

I don't know about these other reviews but my experience with this practice has been very good.
The diagnosis and medication I was put on at my first visit immediately started to help me, and every time I've had an appointment, Dr. Linder has listened to me and my concerns about my dosage based on my experience and hasn't forced me into any amount, instead giving me suggestions and seeing how I feel about them going forward, which has made me feel very in control of my situation, with the confidence of a trained professional's supportive guidance along the way to help me. There was a time I missed an appointment which I scheduled at the end of their work day. I was going through a rough time with my mental health do to some contributing life factors and as a result my sleep schedule was very affected (I have since increased my dosage and have more control over this, as long as I stay personally responsible with my sleep schedule). Dr. Linder made several attempts even after his office's hours to reach me to try and get my appointment in, even on his personal time. I still missed the appointment because I couldn't stay awake (which I still feel horrible about lol, I'm so sorry for this!), but his persistence in trying to work with me was greatly appreciated. I also understand I'm paying for what is years of study in a very important and knowledgeable profession, and when I miss an appointment, I'm essentially taking away time that could've gone to another patient that needs it, so I don't fault them for the expensive no-show fees (which is cost of the appointment itself, I believe, so it makes sense).
The staff is always friendly to me and very helpful and understanding that I can only schedule appointments very infrequently (I pay out of pocket for their services so it's something I can't afford every month). I think the only thing I could criticize (I wouldn't even call it criticizing since it's fairly minor and not even their fault) is sometimes it's been hard to get my medications sent to my pharmacy. But that's only when I try to fill it through the pharmacy itself (Walmart pharmacy). Their requests never seem to make it to the office, but when I call Linder's office itself and request a refill, it always gets immediately sent to my pharmacy and filled quickly.
Thank you for helping me to improve my life. The stabilization I've found through the medication has seriously been life-changing.

After reading reviews, it seems anyone who writes a negative review is inviting abuse from LPG, however I have to anyway.
We were mis-diagnosed (verified by two additional, separate providers). Before being "diagnosed" my son had never even been seen by the psychiatric provider or spoken with over the phone - they only spoke with me and asked me questions over the phone.
When I called another psychiatrist I was told "oh yes, Linder always diagnoses patients as bi-polar".
Aside from this, there were two instances when the provider showed up to my appt an hour late. When I mentioned this, the provider did not apologize, but instead said "that is how it is".
We have had numerous bill discrepancies. To the owner's credit, she did have her team resolve the issue as soon as we brought it to her attention.
Thankfully our family found the right provider for us and symptoms are almost entirely gone / treated. 🙏 I feel sick when I imagine what our lives would be like if we had continued on without a second opinion.

I was interested in continuing my therapy but after only one appointment, I ended up with short notice international travel for work and was unable to cancel before the 72-hour cancellation window. I was charged a $214 cancellation fee with no exceptions to policy. I sent 3 emails and called 3 times, no response to my emails and I could only get ahold of billing who said exceptions to this policy are very rare.
My work often entails this kind of travel, so obviously this practice won’t fit the realities of my life.
In reply to the owner, I did send the emails to that address, called the office number, called the billing number. I never received a reply apart from billing, who said there are no exceptions. Also, during the time I was out of the country my account was sent to collections, while I continued to fail to get any reply from your staff. I'm extremely disappointed in the customer service in addition to this extremely unreasonable policy.
I don't buy your silly story about CA labor law. Why would you pay a doctor twice as much as my actual appointment length for a cancellation? I have never seen a cancellation fee any more than 1/4 of what you charge. Not to mention typical cancellation timeframes are 24 hours, not 72.
Finally, reasonable practices would be willing to work with their clients to make exceptions, especially when out of patient control such as in my case.
I reiterate my initial take, I failed to read these reviews before coming to your practice and I'd warn any other potential patients to consider the $214 minimum risk if life happens.
Final update. I tried again to contact the office via the email address provided by the owner in reply to this review. Again no reply. On continuing threat of collections I've now paid the fee.
Bottom line is, Linder does this to try to keep people from cancelling, which I understand, and I'd happily pay a reasonable cancellation fee. But $214 is way too much, Linder should be willing to make exceptions at times, and the fact that their office staff is unhelpful and the email given to contact on this never replies as they aggressively move toward collections while threatening their patients made me feel extremely uncomfortable. This from a group that is supposed to be helping those most in need of care.
Final note. I was AGAIN called by Linder, over a week from giving up PAYING my bill, to again pester me for payment. LOOK ELSEWHERE for treatment.

Zero stars. Highly unprofessional office untrained to deal with patients of mental illness. Old filing system with no accurate system of record filing. Money seeking medical facility. Office rescheduled my appointment and charged me for missing the initial on that they did not keep. They charged my card and now refuse to refund. I have phone records yet the manager refuses to see or view them. She is demeaning, rude and interrupts you in a defense tone. I have been early to every appointment and due to the way I was treated I cancelled all future appointments. Don't waste your time or insurance here.

This place is truly a scam. They got paid by my insurance, resubmitted the payment twice more, and then proceeded to send it to a creditor. They did not call me - and when they claimed to have their receptionist called the wrong number - mixing up a 6 and a 9.
To the couple that runs this place, you should be embarrassed; the reviews are true. Please save yourself, your credit score, and your sanity and go ANYWHERE else.

My advice to everyone is to stay away from these people I had made an appointment back in January. They rescheduled me twice. After the second I canceled my appointment and said I no longer wanted to see them. A month later I am billed for a "no show" even though I had canceled my appointment within the grace period, not to mention they rescheduled me twice. To make it worse I had an authorization code from my insurance company and told them what I needed only to find out they scheduled me with a doctor who doesn't use my insurance. I disputed the charge and my cc company agreed it was ridiculous. They are continuing to bill me eventhough I have called and told them what happened and have been assured they would stop. My bill has gone from $196.00 to $307.00. I am still fighting with them over what happened. Stay away from these people.
Update: after disputing all the charges with my bank, complaining to my Insurance company I have and cancelling my card I am finally rid of these awful people. My advice to anyone is to STAY AWAY! Worst company I have ever dealt with. I even complained directly to my credit card provider who said they would investigate.
Update #2 It has been over 2 years since I reviewed this business for terrible service and shady business practices. I finally get a response from the owner and this is all she has to say. "You would have received a reminder call for the appointment. It would be at that time you should have called us to let us know that you had cancelled your appointment and it would have been waived"
Obviously she didn't read what I had wrote because I canceled my appointment after they rescheduled me two separate times at last minute notice. The 3rd time they called I told them please cancel all servicies and was told OK only to receieve charges on my account at a later date with additional fees. To whomever the owner is. You are terribly unprofessional and known about in your field of work for terrible service, unprofessionaism, and shady practices. MY ADVICE TO EVERYONE READING THIS IS AVOID THIS BUSINESS AT ALL COSTS!!

If I could give them zero stars, I would. Their staff is useless. They can't keep my kids records straight. They are charging me for a doctor that they told me was under my coverage but after I started receiving a bill; they "forgot" to set that doctor up with my insurance, then the Dr quit and gave me no feedback on my daughter. The manager at the time told me they would waive the $600 but they fired him so now they are saying I have to pay it. I called my insurance and they said that Linder just needs to call them to get it worked out and they would pay the claim. Ranae (the owner) instructed the new supervisor to tell me that they will not waste their time and resources contacting my insurance and that it is my responsibility to pay. They then told me my kids were banned from their office. I asked for a simple fax relaying that I won't be billed their ridiculous cancellation fee since they told me my kids couldn't come 30 minutes before their appt. They literally would rather to lose two patients that come faithfully every week plus my insurance pays and I pay my co pays then just waive a measly $600. Bad management!!! This place is HORRIBLE!!!! They make their patients crazy instead of helping them. I will be filing a complaint with my insurance hoping they will drop them, I am also appealing and I'm seriously considering Calling Curtis. If a group of you want to join please post on here and we can get together and bring this place DOWN!!!
