We just moved to the area about a week ago, and this is a super cool library. The librarians are very nice, helpful, and knowledgeable. They'll help you find any book, and if they dont have it, they'll ask other local libraries. Awesome library, specifically the children's and teen section (I didn't get a chance to go upstairs but will add once I do). There are tons of stuff to do for the kiddos. A little car they can play pretend in, an entire table that is dry erase (you get the dry erase markers from the desk) for coloring, playing tic-tac-toe, learning how to write, a calander dedicated to events for children and families, a real working train (kids can push a button and watch it go around and in tunnels), very organized and sectioned off according to age groups, a magnet center with letters and numbers. There is a lot of space to spread out (if it gets full, it was very busy assuming because the kids are Christmas/holiday break). There are lots of tables and reading corners to kind of get away from the crowds. A super cool and awesome teen center with computers, lounging chairs and couches, a free resource cabinet with toiletries: toothbrushes, pads, and tampons, cleansing wipes etc (guessing for the homeless youth or just any really, so great to see this in the community very heartfelt). Definitely check this library out. It's great if you're a stay at home parent and need to get the kids out without spending money. Do recommend.

In a City which is among top Internet connections in the US, it’s kind of disappointing that it takes 10 minutes to log into the network in the library. Authentication is so slow!

Great staff, amazing facilities and great books availability.

Access to human knowledge and experience. Chairs are medium comfortable if you spend time there.

Good library. Very kid friendly. My boy loves the train and the drawing table. Plus it has an outdoor play area too!

A great library, with wonderful librarians (with a sense of humor).
Love the way they pivoted to continue services, even during the pandemic. Curbside services, keeping books 'quarantined' for a couple days before returning them to shelves, & allowing patrons to put books from the shelves on hold for curbside pickup, are all great shifts...plus virtual storytime for little ones, & so much more!

So many different types of books, movies and audio that are sure to please anyone who walks in. Even in the very, very slim chance they don't have something appealing to you, they let you pick from any other library within the county. Checking out books here is extremely simple and streamlined. Machines everywhere that do it instantaneously, and extremely polite staff.

Love this place. Love the curbside pickup, love being able to drop books off without contact, and love their text-a-librarian abilities to figure out books that I want to read all the time. There are no over-due fines on books, and they do a great job of auto-renewals when you need a little more time. Public libraries are such a treasure, and I'm happy to buy from their book sale each year and I always donate all the books I can't get rid of any other way to their sales. It's a great resource for the community. They also have a lot of Internet ready computers inside for folks that need that and wi-fi for anyone that needs the data, and the librarians are knowledgeable, personable, and ready to help whenever there's a need for more knowledge.

I love the Longmont Public Library!! It's the best! Friendliest people and the best reading spaces in town. The children's area is outstanding! Librarians there are bilingual and have an entire section of books in Spanish! It's so wonderful to have an area full of magazines and esaders available to the Spanish speaking people in our community. Our librarians are so full of new ideas and energy to implement new ideas and listen to suggestions.
