We went into this no expectations of what was to come. A week later, we can say that this was one of the most memorable vacations we have ever taken. All staff were professional and friendly, making our family feel welcome from the moment we walked into the property. Latigo Ranch offers adventures perfect for adults and children. ||To start - the food was second to none. Incredible five star meals at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There was incredible variation amongst the meals, and all were served by the incredible waitstaff which was extremely accommodating and mindful. ||The horse time was also extremely notable. With two rides daily, and the option to have longer rides or even all-day ride, we were able to spend a great deal of time with our horses and develop a nice relationship between each guest and our carefully picked horse for the week. The wranglers are incredibly knowledgeable and attentive to all guests needs. Those who wanted to be more explorative with their horses were able to while those who may be more hesitant or weary with their horses were able to go slower and take the time to get comfortable. ||All members of staff were incredible and so extremely polite. Every request was met with a “yes” or “we will figure it out.” It felt more like visiting a family member’s home than visiting a strangers ranch. We look forward to many more years of coming back to spend time together reconnecting as a family and reconnecting with the world around us.

Second time at Latigo, this time we brought the extended family including kids and grandkids, ages 1 1/2 thru 70's. Randy and Lisa made the reservations easy to navigate, Great wranglers and all staff. The grandkids, all <12, learned to ride, rope and wrangle. The food was excellent as usual; had my first yakburger and yak fillet. If you like wide open vistas and personal attention, don't pass up Latigo. The staff accommodated almost any request. The ranch has a true family feel. We will be back. Both granddaughters now want horses!

Latigo Guest Ranch is an amazing family-owned operation that has exceeded our expectations. The George family is very hands-on with each family member playing an essential role. We were welcomed from the beginning like old friends. The accommodations are private, comfortable, and well maintained. The meals are five-star quality and plentiful. The well-cared for horses are matched to each person's ability. There is great flexibility in choosing numerous activities as described on the website. Trail rides through the beautiful Colorado terrain are beath-taking. Other activities that we particularly enjoyed were shotgun, rifle, and pistol shooting, cattle-driving and penning, hiking, and just sitting down and relaxing. Over the years we have visited numerous dude ranches, but our experiences at Latigo seem molded just for us.||Friends ask us why we choose to go to a guest ranch when we have three horses of our own on our 48-acre NC farm. We enjoy traveling, meeting new people, being pampered, and love the out-of-doors . Latigo is the perfect get-away. And....it is not just for young people. My husband is a young 83 and I am 75.||Yep, we are sold! The Georges have lured us back for a third time during this next summer season.|| Yipeee!

The George family has a genuine gift of hospitality to give all who come to visit. Everything is done with excellence and there is something for everyone. The food is amazing! It was my first time learning how to crack a whip and fly fish. We really enjoyed a night hike to look at the stars without the light pollution of the city. The wranglers are so friendly and taught us so much about horse riding. Country line dancing was a blast too!! The whole staff is focused on your well-being and pays attention to detail. They overheard one of the guests saying they wish they could get the recipe for one of the dishes, and the next meal, the recipe was at her place at the table. You will love this place because it is fueled by love.

This was my second visit to Latigo. First visit was with a friend, this visit was with my husband. As expected, it was amazing! The vacation of a lifetime. Every detail is so thought out and well executed. You truly feel as though every decision is made with you in mind. The family is amazing, their choice of wranglers and staff is without exception perfection! There is not a single detail I would change.

We were assigned horses that fit our abilities and were able to capitalize on our experience level every ride. Every trail is more magnificent than the last, every meal leaves you lusting for the next and you become a part of the extended family before the week's end. There are special experiences galore if you need a break from riding and serenity if you choose to stay back and enjoy some quiet time.

The wranglers provide guided rides for the children so you can spend quality time with your significant other on gorgeous trail rides. 10/10. This is the best dude ranch, hands down.

A week of pure fun, first class treatment, and making friends! The staff here is incredible, the food is amazing, the horseback rides are unforgettable. Plus there is hiking, e bikes, swimming, shooting, fishing, white water rafting, dancing, and rock climbing. Worth every penny, and you get to make your own brand and burn it into the lodge, super cool.

You have an opportunity to round-up cattle and test your team penning skills.
