Cute spot. Very friendly staff. Pet friendly. Authentic experience with cabin rooms—The entire floor slanted sideways in the bathroom, which I thought was charming! Convenient to town. Would book again. Only change I would make is update the pots and pans in kitchenette because they were pretty beaten up and didn’t feel safe to use.

We have been going to Lake City, CO since we were kids. Such an amazing little city tucked away in the mountains. It’s beautiful, friendly, and adventurous. We have stayed at the Lake City Lodge for 5 years in a row ! We really love the new owners. They are in a perfect location. A quick walk into town and they have the perfect view of the mountains. I love sitting on the porch while drinking coffee. You are sure to see some deer and other cute wildlife. The cabins are clean and a perfect place to stay in the mountains. They are reasonably priced and the owners will check on you everyday. It’s kid friendly and the perfect spot to light a fire and have s’mores at night! We will continue to visit Lake City and stay here! Bonus, they recently fully renovated cabin #4 and it’s beautiful! New flooring, new bathroom, new kitchen… so cute. Highly recommend booking room 4 !!

Lake City Lodge is a great place to stay! It has everything you need and is in a great location of this amazing town. The owners are friendly & very helpful. We have stayed here for 3 years in a row with our family & friends and we will definitely continue this tradition for years to come!

These cabins had everything we needed.
They were clean and have a great view of the mountains. The owner is really nice and also helpful in supplng information on good hiking trails. Will definitely stay here again

Lake City Lodge truly goes above and beyond when it comes to catering to families and groups of friends. We particularly enjoyed gathering around the crackling fire pit.

If you like having mice in a run down smelly room, this is the place for you.. after hiking and needing a place to crash before the next hike, I booked a room here. Got checked in, unloaded totes of food, popped some things in the fridge and brought in my suitcase. Room smelled musty/smokey and old. It is easy to find and close to restaurants and shops so I'll give it stars for that. However after retiring for the night I was woken up to scratching odd noises and got up to find a mouse trying to get into my bag. So gross. Moved things around, and since I was too tired and it was the middle of the night with nothing open I had no choice but to stay. Missed getting out the door on time for the next hike. Booked it out that morning, left a note, got no response. Will stay elsewhere on the next trip and would not recommend! Still grossed out!

This place feels like home. The rooms are clean, cute, accommodating, and the location is right in the heart of Lake City. You can walk to town and dine and shop. Walk to hiking trails and to the river to fish or take a cold dip. Super safe for children to free play and roam and explore. A great place to make new friends and share stories in the outdoor communal area. The hosts know everything you need to know when visiting Lake City. A wholesome, feel good lodge, where personal care is spot on. No dealing with rude people or long waits for responses. It’s just the perfect place to stay while in Lake City.
